Why would you be allergic to bees? Bees are cool. Did you know bees are all clones of each other? That’s why they have such a dedication to the hive. Reproduction has the effect of passing on 50% of an individual's DNA, but if that individual dies defending the hive, that increases the chances that the queen bee surviving, and the queen bee's 24/7 job is to produce 100% DNA clones of the individual bee. The math works out that it's better for the individual to die in defence of the hive than it is to live on in hopes of reproducing. Actually, since older bees have less time left, they’re less likely to reproduce, which means they gain more benefit from suiciding to defend the hive. Because of this, older bees are much more aggressive than their younger counterparts. Young bees are sometimes so docile you can pick them up and let them crawl on your hand without them attacking you. Bee society seems very chill. We’d probably be a lot better off if we reproduced like bees.

You should become a bee keeper. Did you know bee honey tastes like the flowers that the bees feed off of? You can customize your honey by growing different flowers in proximity of the bee hive. Bees aren't stupid, so they'll use the closest flowers first.
