>le edgy Bond man
We all agree he was the worst Bond, right?
Le edgy Bond man
Don't be a contrarian, user, it's lame
no i like him a lot.
for me, moore is the worst
>that trigger discipline
>Bronsan
>Dalton
>Lazenby
>Craig
>Connery
>Moore
Dalton was the best, though. Roger Moore was the worst, always felt like he was going to look at the camera and wink like Jim from the Office
Yeah but when the movie was designed around Moore it worked like Spy Who Loved Me. I like Dalton but fuck I remember watching Living Daylights and being really impressed with everything except when Bond tries to do an effortless one-liner (the sort of thing Moore did with stride.) Doesn't work coming out of Dalton's mouth. It's weird too because I've seen him in later stuff (like Hot Fuzz) and he can nail one-liners and almost 4th wall breaking moments. Maybe he was just too young and serious back then?
Just watched the Man with the Golden Gun. He just slaps bitches around and pushes brown kids off boats after they made a deal not to mention kicks a dude in the head when he bows in respect. lol'd
>old hollywood movie
>actor holding a fake gun
you're very autistic
Incorrect.
The worst Bond was Roger Moore. His movies took the franchise in a stupid and campy direction that it took decades to escape from. He was to James Bond what Adam West was to Batman.
Also, we were supposed to be super impressed every time he took his shirt off even though he was built like a potato sack, and he punched like a sissy.
Adam West Batman is awesome faggot.
He was great in Licence to Kill, but Living Daylights is trash. One minute Bond is brutally murdering people the next he's riding in bumper cars with a sixteen year old, also the villains in that movie suck and the movie drags on forever once they get to Afghanistan
The franchise was already going that route with campy as fuck Diamonds Are Forever
No it's not, you are only told that it's awesome because of irony and 60s nostalgia. It was an awful show even when it was new and it was only good for laughs.
>His movies took the franchise in a stupid and campy direction that it took decades to escape from.
Connery was the start of that with Diamonds Are Forever and the 90s films doubled down after the Dalton films attempted to make things serious. Don't blame Moore.
A debate between these two would be epic.
he was the best.craig is the worst followed by moore
We all agree you're a faggot OP
As if Bond gives a fuck about trigger discipline
Brosnan was the worst Bond and it's not even a debate, there was potential, he was liked by the general public but couldn't pull it off probably because he was in the worst films of the franchise. He would've been a better 006 than a 007. Buy me a pint? Pissoff.
>thinking highly trained combat specialist is not going to have good trigger discipline deeply ingrained
really all the bonds are product of the time and it's director.
They are all great at accomplishing what they set out to do however this doesn't mean what they set out to do was great.
That being said, moore is the worst
Bond movies are meant to be campy tho
>it was only good for laughs
Maybe because it was a fucking comedy?
>craig
>bond
Both Bond and Batman started out as serious and became associated with camp because of bad live action adaptations.
Only gun-obsessed mutts give a shit about such things
Seriously?
>Connery
>Craig
>Brosnan
>Dalton
>Moore
>Lazenby
Based craig isn't bond bond girls laughing poster
npc-tier list
>campy = bad
The absolute state of modern audiences
>Connery
>Craig
>Dalton
>Moore
>Brosnan
>Lazenby
Did you mean to post Craig?
Lazenby had the worst tux, got married and fucking sucked.
>the worst tux
He wore a fucking skirt.
uh, no
after 6 shitty Roger Moore movies, Dalton seemed like a breath of fresh air
TLD was worse than any of Roger Moore's movies, even Moonraker
Hating Moore is such a meme
Connery and Moore ARE Bond. Everyone who came after just copied some combination of their portrayals. Saying you don't like Moore is pretty much equivalent to saying you don't like Bond movies.
You realize that modern audiences eat up Marvel shit even though it's campy right?
If you average out their movies it goes like this:
>Lazenby
>Craig
>Brosnan
>Connery
>Moore
>Dalton
But if you just go by the actor it goes like this:
>Dalton
>Brosnan
>Connery
>Craig
>Lazenby
>Moore
Nobody counts David Niven
Lazenby came before Moore and half of Connery's movies.
He's also the main inspiration for Austin Powers though.
>lazenby is the main inspiration for austin powers
Harry Palmer is the main inspiration for Austin Powers you twat.
people didn't give a shit about that in the 60's
Either way hating something for being campy is stupid. A film can be campy while also being good
marel only has "self-aware" "ironic" basedquips. I promise you people will cringe hard at those films in 50 years
Marvel shit isn't campy, it's just bad. It takes itself way too seriously to be considered campy.
The main inspiration for Austin Powers is In Like Flint
anyone who isn't a manchild s o y b o y already cringes hard at them.
You're tasked with making a Bond movie.
What do you make the title?
The Property of a Lady
late Brosnan movies are the worst shit ever
true, but that's not the modern audience watching those films
oh it shows, lyndon johnson, it shows
For Queen and Country and Murder
He was most handsome and therefore the best.
