Alongside Tarzan, it’s the Disney movie that I’d rewatch over and over again. My parents love it too. I don’t know why everyone here hates it. I also loved Treasure Planet and Peter Pan. But Aristocats I’ve watched countless times.

It leads to a massive visual inconsistency. Sometimes the cats move like natural quadrupedal cats, sometimes they become bipeds. It is jarring and doesn't look right.

Compare Everybody Wants to be a Cat to something like Bare Necessities. Very similar in concept, song based around a simple animal pun. The latter is executed much better though; the tune is way catchier, it is timeless in what it conveys, and the wordplay in the lyrics is more creative. Everybody Wants to be a Cat is just not as memorable as what it was competing with.

There is just nothing interesting about them, there isn't much to say about it. I challenge you to name name all the main cats in the movie off the top of your head.
