I still don't get how Anakin thought Palpatine could actually save Padme, when 5 minutes before Mace dies Palpatine was all like, "yeah I'm the ONLY way to save her" and then after Mace dies he's like, "I mean, maybe if we work together we can figure it out? just go kill every one you've ever known first."
