I like the cover of the 35th anniversary blu-ray more. Plus that one came with a copy of the Alien: Illustrated Story comic, I think. Oh well. The whales can eat this stuff up. I'm still happy just having the Alien Anthology blu-ray set.

Thanks man, I had only seen it once before and that was on a dvd with a non HD tv so I never got to appreciate just how beautiful the set design and cinematography really was, but seeing it on the big screen cleaned up so well was breathtaking. You could see all the individual beads of sweat on characters faces/hands and everything

Covenant? Stupid as shit screenplayery at work but it has aspects of genius as well. I recommend watching it but expect random moments of stupidity. Might require some mental gymnastics to make the lore feel right after it but it's certainly possible. Certainly better than Prometheus.
