Why does Christopher Eccleston hate Doctor Who?
Why does Christopher Eccleston hate Doctor Who?
He doesn't?
It was a job.
Because it sucks. Why do you think there's absolutely no discussion of it after the new series is over?
because it's shit, it's the same with the Stannis actor from GOT, he don't give a shit about the show, did just for the money because knows it's shit
both are based actors and some of the best in their respective series
Where did he say he hated it?
I thought he just hated the BBC suits
apparently there was some behind-the-scenes drama with some BBC executives which is why he left after one series
as to why he hasn't done anything since with DW, it's because he's a stubborn jackass. the BBC has an insane amount of turnover, anyone he had a beef with would have been long gone by the time the 50th anniversary rolled around
I don't blame him
I mean have you watched that show?
>he hasn't done anything since with DW
Has he said he hates the show? From what I remember he just said he didn't like his character.
IIRC some director guy didn't give a shit about safety on set and almost got someone killed with a poorly coordinated controlled explosion or something, Eccleston took it up with Russell T. Davies and some other BBC higher up and none of them gave a shit. Could be misremembering.
That's a sweet picture
I meant done anything with DW since then
but to be fair he's had exactly two notable roles since leaving Who
>a villain in the 2009 GI Joe movie that didn't make the sequel despite being set up for one
>a generic marvel villain in Thor 2
Fortitude? The Shadow Line?
The fanbase of that show is fat women and faggots. Can you blame him?
or fat faggots
Have you seen his interviews? He hates every franchise he's been a part of. Doctor Who, GI Joe, Thor, etc. He freely shits on them.
Most people hate Dr Who.
28 days later?
To be fair. They ARE shit.
Doctor Who has 1-2 good episodes per season. The rest is embarassing.
Thor hasn't had a good movie, and his scenes were mostly cut. No wonder he's pissed.
And G.I. Joe...do I really need to say something about that shitshow.
He was in The Leftovers, a really good show, and he was the best character. His episodes were the best EVERY season. His Doctor Who was great in a terrible show.
