watched the char man the other day. really solid flick considering it's micuscule budget. There's a lot of tropes common to FF films that I find boring that are done super well here, namely because the guys involved aren't 20 year old wannabes and feel like actual filmmakers. manages to skirt the line of real and fake without being boring or breaking immersion. It does take sometime to get to anything truly spooky though.

I just saw Char Man and it took forever to get to something and almost nothing happened.

It did the low scale spooks well,and that roaring fire sound was fucking ominous, but that whole beginning part could have been pared down to 10 or so minutes. Also the ending was weak.

I watched this, so no zombie lolis, but it had ghost lolis instead, how do they expect me to be scared by cute little girls in pajamas? Anyways the flashfowards kind spoiled the movie, since they let you know who are the ones who are going to die first, also what's up wtih the "old' footage at the beginning? Pretty much unneeded and only serves to take away from the verisimilitude of the film, 6/10, had some good spooky atmosphere at times.

It was some months ago, so I admit it may be time for a rewatch, but I remember being very disappointed because nothing happens. I hate saying that, because I'm a fan of low key, slow burn horror, but from what I remember, there was no climax, no punchline, even in low key horror like Leaving DC or BWP, small stuff happens and things are implied, expectations are played with, but it's like Fury of the Demon, it was TOO low key, too grounded.

Dragonball is fun, I only got into very recently, it's something anyone can watch. Long ass show but you can take your time with it.

I remember the nerdy black kids at my school loved it. I always found that to be an interesting phenomenon.
I really should watch it since it's basically the most entry level anime in existence, but also one of the most beloved. maybe I should just read the manga cuz I usually like that more than watching anime.

Found footage is the lowest for of movie making. It is even lower than reality tv. Found footage is extremely cheap and extremely gimmicky relying on an abundance of shaky cam, really low budget cgi and constant shitty jump scares.

Even Uwe Boll movies have better acting and more cinematography than most found footage movies.
