Captain Marvel might have been salvageable. Say what you want about Daisy Ridley, but she can be charming as fuck when she wants to. Brie Larson can't even muster a genuine smile.
I actually feel sorry for Daisy. You can see that she's trying her best to make Rey a likeable character. But this character is written so badly, there is not much she can do.
