First for Riverland Lords deceived Ned.

so arya's ending is gonna be she survivies the zombie apocalypse, then becomes an expert sailor somehow and then she sails west of westeros into the unknown world like that one bitch in the past did

Is that Niggeros in the south?

>you now remember that this is the army that defeated the most populous and powerful region of westeros

Attached: Total War.png (1647x869, 1.5M)

Is the simultaneous long night happening with the 5 forts and Yi Ti? Is there a chink Jon Snow trying to unite the throne right now?

Tell me about Ulthos.

What’s up with Yeen? How far south does Sothoryos reach? Are all the interesting things just vague Lovecraft homages?

yes

Yep and grrm is pretty unabashed about it. Brindled men look like gorillas and cannot breed with other men, they look like monsters, diseases reap throughout it.

But then the summer isles are also black people, and they are like a peaceful nation. It’s complicated

Ulthos is Australia

>and cannot breed with other men
that's pretty normal

> how do targaryens fit in, with their ability to control dragons?

Targaryens are descendants of the alien/advanced human Valyrians, who brought all the normal humans to colonize Planetos eons ago.

I think GRRM is taking a page from Roger Zelazny’s “Lord of Light”, though it’ll never be addressed in the books.

>Westeros has a million named towns and settlements
>Essos has about ten cities with nothing in between
So, this is the greatest modern literature series eh?

what's the bottom left continent supposed to be?

I love these maps. Do we know for a certainty about that equator line?

how was a battle against the people of the forest even needed then? that superior tech would have btfo them at day 1

it's mentioned that many smaller cities in free cities territory are comparable in size to the biggest cities in westeros
it's just not explored because 90% of the story doesn't take place there

You don’t think there are thousands a villages like the Lhazareen one spread around Essos?

And falls of the edge because of flat-Planetos theory.

I don't watch this show I just came by to say that's the most unoriginal fantasy world map I've ever seen in my life. We made better maps for our custom ad&d campaigns when I was in middle school.

nah, this is the worst

That was a battle between the primitive normal humans the advanced Valyrian humans used to colonize Planetos.

wouldnt the sea around the barrier freeze during winter? brutes just needed to take a walk around it

I haven't read game of thrones, but based on what I've seen on the show comparing it to Lord of Light is reaching a bit.

>We made better maps for our custom ad&d campaigns when I was in middle school.

No you didn't.

Attached: D&D In Search of the Unknown.jpg (751x966, 208K)

no one ever said that, she was just the chick that caught the eye of a pretty boy who decided she was worth going to war over

It looks pretty small

>comparing it to Lord of Light is reaching a bit.

I'll take "things I never said" for a 100 silver stags, maester.

probably about 20k? rough estimate

It's pretty exaggerated, Lyanna was pretty but not top tier. She kinda looked like a boy like pic related

there's like 5000 there judging by the size of the front boxes which seem to be about 60 men

radmure tully

Attached: radmure.png (833x893, 562K)

you literally said that the idea of valyrians colonizing planetos was similar to lord of light

So this clusterfuck of a franchise is finally going to end. I wonder if GURM will finally admit he stopped writing the books in 2011 after the show's finale airs.

I counted like 72 in each "century" and there's like a hundred of those. So yeah like 7000-8000. But there's no siege machinery, they even had it in that universe?

Finally a interesting thread. I think i’m gonna drop the name “Jaqenposter” and change it to anonymous. It’s time to let Jaqen H’ghar go and look forward. May the Many Faced God bless you all.

Thanks, but I was just lazy and shit.

No, niggers are from the summer islands, in sothoryos there are pig-gorilla men that can't breed with humans. In the books there's no real equivalents to our niggers. There's some several dark skinned human races, but some are like 8 foot tall and really skinny, it's a world where all caucasian ethnic groups are represented in a way or the other, there's some mongoloids, but the rest of the world is filled with fantasy ethnic groups and other human species like the neanderthals

Eat shit and burn in hell.

How many chinese cities does your European centric maps have? what about argentinean towns in your globe? Don't be retarded. The maps are filled in accordance to Westerocentric views and knowledge of the world

Question for you lore fags.
What was the single most powerful nation/culture in Martin's hack setting

They BTFO the giants, they only defeated YI TI once

you're nothing, like your dad.

Obviously Valyaria before it was destroyed. And I guess since Bravoos destroyed them by unknown means involving volcanoes I guess you could count them.

Valyria.

You’re worthless piece of shit, like your whore mother.

Valyria, Yi Ti was bigger, richer and really advanced, but Dragons just tip the scale towards Valyria

I really wish we could bring this back but everyone in the screen cap would get banned under (((((((4channel))))))). Im actually kinda happy cuz these recent /got/ threads have actually been kino as fuck. ive missed you guys.

>Yi Ti was bigger, richer and really advanced
Myth. Don't take what the world book says as fact. Martin even said this. It's written from the perspective of a Maester. Even the map is more than likely flawed.

>flat planetos

The grey waste borders the lands of always winter

also gotta mention Old Ghis, they were top dog until Valyria came in and fucked their shit.

It does not. Martin said Westeros doesn't connect to the easternmost side of Essos. There's probably a separate continent in the north connecting the two, like a northern Antarctica.

lion of the night WHEN?

A reminder that Cersei tells the Iron Banker that she is able to pay all her debt in a fortnight, while Jaime is still in King's Landing, thus it takes a week for an army to march from King's Landing to Higharden, in this continent that is meant to be the size of South America.

Attached: 1.png (674x429, 619K)

Post the Brysbane map

>Kayakayanaya is ruled by the Great Fathers. Their daughters learn to ride and climb before they learn to walk and are trained in the arts of bow, spear, knife, and sling from the earliest age. Meanwhile, ninety nine of every hundred boys, the sons of the Great Fathers, are gelded when they reach the age of manhood and live out their lives as eunuchs, serving their cities as scribes, priests, scholars, servants, cooks, farmers, and craftsmen. Only the most promising males, the largest, strongest, and most comely, are permitted to mature, breed, and become Great Fathers in their turn. Maester Naylin in his Rubies and Iron speculates on the circumstances that led to such customs.

It's not his fault, every time a leftist tries to conceive of a social system that emphasizes female "martial prowess" it's hilarious and cringey.

Based on America

I sincerely hope this is just a show creation. CotF making the White Walkers is fucking silly

Assuming that distance is at least 1000 km (from Caracas to Bogota), even Roman forced march could only cover 60 km per day, thus one-way march would alone take a fortnight.

>no open world RPG set in the far east of essos

why can't we have fun?

I wasn't comparing the GoT books to LoL, just that element.

>What was the single most powerful nation/culture in Martin's hack setting

Well, seeing as how Braavos has nukes... Braavos.

It was something that had long been speculated

Attached: my got world.png (2196x1698, 2.82M)

>I sincerely hope this is just a show creation. CotF making the White Walkers is fucking silly

The Others/White Walkers being a bio-weapon created by the CotF that got out of control, is too good of a twist for D&D to have thought of.

God I wish that were me.

I haven't follow GoT for quite some time, who is the wife?

eh, they got a lot of cool shit and their rich

Brindled men means niggers with tribal skin markings so Georgie is calling niggers subhuman beast absolutely based and redpilled.

none other then ze bad poosey

Tyene from Dorne. She's probably dead since Dany forgot to ask about her.

Just a reminder that GRRM has Catelyn go from Riverrun to Bitterbridge to talk to Renly, then to Stormsend to bitch at Stannis and Renly, then back to Riverrun after Renly was shadowbabbyed… all straight thru the heart of the heaviest fighting on Westeros and back again.

Attached: Catelyn's route.png (1641x2387, 2.29M)

It take her days to even go from Kings Landing to her home turf the Riverlands.

I don't see the problem as long as the escort was big enough to scare off any foraging parties. That route is away from any of the main armies.

We saw her get poisoned

Wasn't there an alternate map at least in Season 2 of the show where the area aroumd Qarth was different? I remember there being a lot more land. I like this map better though and believe its the canon version.

You're literally retarded for buying that theory

Attached: 1552275132876.jpg (2196x1698, 962K)

There arw ruined cities on the Rhoyne at least that are in the fifth book

At this point, the Tarleys are aiding the Lannisters, so perhaps many of the Reach lords have turned against Highgarden out of fear of retaliation.

They are Westeros rich, they aren't rich

>yi ti is described as a nation with cities made of jewels and pearls to westeros peoples
>casterly rock is described as a mountain of solid gold carved into a palace to yi tish

Really makes you think. Is anything you hear of in this world accurate at all?

>tfw no serial killer gf

Gurm does a lot of shit wrong but this is basically correct. If you look at ancient cartography and geography the farther away something is the less accurate information you have and the more likely someone is just going to make stuff up based on legend.

Attached: 449669943.jpg (1024x759, 130K)

GRRM said Westeros and Essos aren't connected

Valyria, then Yi Ti, then Asshai, then Westeros,!then Ghis.
Of the free cities it’s Braavos.

A consistent theme is that well trained Westerosi Knights are nigh unbeateable. Barristan wrecks a Meerenese gladiator champion because of armor.

You guys are forgetting the black architecture/stone that dots the planet however impossible that is, thousands of years before Valyria, and farther back than than the Children in some areas.

He says a lot of things like "I'm totally working on the books guys"

Don't listen to him.

People forget about how strong Westeros is and how good they are at war. Despite having to rely on untrained peasants a lot; Westerosi Knighthood is a martial order not seen around the world. Nobody comes close to it

Fishfrog people. El goblinos of the ocean mating with human women to spread their immigrant seed because the dirty trenches are full of spicfish.

That doesn’t mean that Yi Ti isn’t still potentially powerful. Imperial China was more advanced and urbanized than medieval Europe at the time, and Corlys Velaryon, the Sea Snake, did say they had cities that dwarfed King’s Lansing, and he got rich bringing back ivory and jade.

>Imperial China was more advanced and urbanized than medieval Europe at the time
During certain centuries-long periods, yes. It's been a back and forth between the east and west. The west was ahead post-Renaissance and pre-Roman implosion.

I can’t even imagine the adventures of chink Jon Snow and company, but it’s probably happening. Last time, GRRM confirmed that the Long Night was a global event and affected Essos as well.

Hey /got, what would Eastern Game of Thrones be like

Yeah for sure, this is all accurate. Westeros is pre Renaissance right?

I’m not saying they have palaces made of pearl; just that there is probably a civilization as powerful as The Iron Throne.

I think GRRM took the lore from the isle of Leng (tall natives, and Chinese colonizers who have been there for centuries) from Malaysia; where there were Chinese and Malaysian peoples who coexisted and fought for centuries. (This is in no way to say that Malaysians are tall)

He’s never going to answer where they came from. They are supposed to just add some spookiness to the series.

>Westeros is pre Renaissance right?
Yes, but Braavos is approaching it right now.

Yep! And Myr, with their glass mirrors and telescopes!

> Westeros is pre Renaissance right?

GRRM isn’t an historian, so Westeros (Planetos in general) is a mishmash of technology and analogs of historical periods and peoples of Earth, he’s got Wildings with stone axes and knights in full plate armor, Viking type longships and full-rig clipper ships, massive fortifications and wooden forts, etc.

Attached: 1475ad1541623315767.jpg (1200x1640, 358K)

>Hey /got, what would Eastern Game of Thrones be like

Everybody would rook the same.

We do know that they are going through a civil war at the moment

So that’s cool

I mean isn’t that semi realistic; like the people of the far north lagging behind in smithing tech? I do agree with your general point though!

Its crazy how much grrm has invented for this world but he's not even going to write about half of it.

Anyone fucking hate how people think ASOIAF is "historically accurate"

It's still fucking fantasy

taken from the wiki
>Over the past two thousand years, YiTish cities, towns, farms, and fields beyond count have been reduced to ruins and ashes. Many imperial generals and three God-Emperors have led armies to bring the nomads to heel but have seldom ended well and soon the raids began anew, even when jhats were compelled to vow eternal fealty to the God-Emperor and foreswear raiding forever.
They were almost stopped by Lo Bu, but then they got their shit together and wrecked his 13 armies and took his skull as a cup

any leaks yet?

> I mean isn’t that semi realistic; like the people of the far north lagging behind in smithing tech?

The Wildings are essentially cavemen yet in the South, it’s more or less the 1500 A.D.

On Earth, the American Indians were far behind Europe but there was no contact between the two meanwhile, tech and cultural practices spread pretty fast when people are regularly trading with each other, so it doesn’t make sense for example that the Northmen are still wearing chainmail that's five hundred years out of date when they have the capability to make full-plate armor just as good as that in the Reach or Westerlands.

GRRM just uses whatever he thinks is cool, even if it doesn’t necessarily make sense.

>GRRM just uses whatever he thinks is cool, even if it doesn’t necessarily make sense.
You mean like any fantasy ever? Do you listen to yourself right now? Be thankful it's more realistic than the plethora of dnd carbon cobies and nonsensical urban fantasy bollocks.

>Well, seeing as how Braavos
>You're literally retarded for buying that theory

It's pretty clear that Hardhome was nuked by the Faceless Men as a test of the technology/magic prior to using it to take down the Valyrians.

Attached: map North Topo.jpg (1234x1572, 787K)

grrm was a tk nerd who played koei back in the 90s, he saw cao cao and thus he made stannis. stannis is destined to conquer the south but lose the north to jon and robin, therefore creating epic three kingdoms

sauce

reminder asoiaf is written by notorious northfag sam therefore it has obvious bias, same as with luo guanzhong.

You're an idiot. Just like that idiot who thinks Westeros is North America thousands of years into the future.

>Written from the perspective of a maester

I read this book and that shit got old really fast. So many times in the book he used the maester saying something like "no doubt you're wondering about this region and it's customs and people but that's a story for another day". Why even bother writing this book if you can't even be bothered to give any new information about the world? That's the whole reason for buying the book, but every time you're about to get into something new the maester fucks you by saying "idk lol". I didn't learn anything new from this book I that wasn't already covered by the extras about the history of the world in the DVDs

>dickhead
That's true. But I'd take a knowledgable dickhead over a less knowledgeable bro for maester.

So what is happening in the rest of the world while the white walkers are attacking Westeros?

Attached: 1496076782415-1.png (443x478, 199K)

Other parts of the world have their own legends of the Long Night, each being distinct. In Yi Ti you had a sorcerer-emperor defeated by some monkey girl. Yi Ti is currently going through their own Game of Thrones.

I think I brought the best combination

>pancake tits wife
>scheming counselor that cooks the books
I guess the rest is okay provided that is two-hand Jaime

Yi Ti has its own Wall by the way, 13 forts or something.

Also user writing about aliens/colonization is right.
GRRM loves these stories how horror fantasy world turns into Dying Earth SF setting.
In GoT you have
-nuked city of Ashai where water glows at night, people don’t have kids, zero fish and so on
-radioactive desert
-symbol of organization responsible for terraforming of other planets in his SF universe
-oily blackstone
-bunkers under some of the castles

that’s just out of top my head

I'll butter those flapjacks if you know what I mean

>>Fat stacks and mad flower pussy growing up
You can't fuck them if they are your own family, though I don't know why you would want to, it's a sausage fest other than pancake tits
>Fertile young wife from a great house who adores the South from all the stories
She is still annoying and ugly on top of being a shitty fake person
>My adventures get shit done
Yeah but they are supposed to be your pals at the same time
>I rapidly gain esteem by virtue of my unbeatable A team of lords and knights who will be eternally loyal because honour
What? Adventure pals aren't your feudal vassals
>Upjumped smuggler is also endlessly loyal and understands the common people well enough that I never need to worry about my subjects
He's supposed to understand more than the common people

I'm not sure I follow

>not putting complete trust in Small Council
also don't talk shit about my wife

I would like the opportunity to ejaculate onto her pancake-like breasts if you understand what I'm trying to say

>fertile
>got fucked raw by ramsay every night and never got pregnant

whenever winds of winter finally comes out, assuming GRRM picks up the pace after the show ends, i'll bet that most people will accept by then that what's done is done and that he'll never finish the final book and they'll just slap the missing pieces together in their head

>She's not ugly by any stretch. This timeline doesn't allow for the events of GoT so her personality is fluid and could be shaped to be a qt flower wife.
>I'd have fun with Barry, he was supposed to be a chad in his youth and Stannis could be the straight man to our gang.
>Obviously we'd all be there because we wanted to, I'd need to pull my weight but we'd all get credit for heroic deeds.

I wish they did the Blackfyre plot. Honestly the whole White Walker thing ruined what made the show good.

Get on my level

Attached: 1503652594880.jpg (2139x2138, 1.93M)

I agree. Dropped the show the second the zombies showed up. It's not like they were in the first scene or anything and they had plenty of time to prepare haha, no. Not at all.

unironically i believe that The Grey Wastes of Yi Ti and North of the Wall is the same area

I didn't hate that stuff, I just don't like how much was dropped in favour of ice zombies

It makes sense

nice reading comprehension, retard

>TFW still too brainlet to understand what you mean
use small words, I'm a retard, remember

What if he's lying?

Such a SEETHING simpleton. Imagine being so mad you got blown the fuck out you blame others.

I'm I being punked? I don't understand what's happening I just wanted to talk about television.

Reminder that Sothoryos is so big, a Dragon bitch flied South for 3 years and still didn't see the end of it

Niggaland big

It's also a literal hell with the worst diseases and shit. The warm equivalent of the North. It's also evil as fuck with the ruins.

Bitch probably lied about that and spent the whole time taking BBC (big brindled cock)

Reminder that Neanderthals exist as a nation and the niggers of the world are striped

Pretty sure there's only one ruin like that, and it's the one that the retarded river people tried to settle in
Also Sothoryos is too hardcore, even for valyrians
From giant bats, crocodiles and dinosaurs to insects that get under your skin to eat you alive. Not to mention there's literally no animal at all that non-brindlemen can eat

Not the Summer Islanders, they're normal blacks. The Brindled Men are more like squat pseudo-negros with strange skin patterns, but we barely know anything about them. Strange too, since they're one of the only other examples of non-humans we have in the series.

It's the good thing the old fatty will never ruin most of these places by writing about them
We can keep them in our imaginations

Attached: 1338964256416.jpg (4642x4642, 2.79M)

But user, that's exactly what he intends. He hates mysteries being revealed more than anything. This is all we're -ever- going to see. We're never getting anything more detailed other than snippets and stories that probably aren't true.

Attached: Map_of_Ice_and_Fire.jpg (2803x2500, 1.79M)

We know they're great slaves and gladiators

I always fucking hated this map. The Jade Sea placement to the right looks so fucking out of place.

Attached: 1318506785656.jpg (6300x4800, 1.24M)

Truthfully I think that's what he does best when creating worlds. The little descriptions he gas of the other parts of the world make them more interesting then if he went into full detail about them.

Pandyssia I think?

Ibbenese aren't human either
The offsprings between them and humans are infertile

No, they just shared a whole lot of heartache and despair, and lost all of their friends and most of their family in the war.

Those onions are not cut properly.

They literally do, on Sothoryos
And King Kong does too

Do you guys think that maybe Dinosaurs exist on Planetos?

my bad i fucked up my spoiler tags :(

Grew up into Total faggot.

They were just really good bros that ended up changing the history of Westeros. Neither of them truly wanted power, they just got stuck with it.

One of them just really wanted to fuck the other's sister. Let's not mince words.

If Robert could take a hint Rhaegar would have deposed the Mad King peacefully like he planned and everything would have worked out fine.

Ibbenese are Neanderthals.

Cuz they were raping manwhores and most likely had aids

I never said he didn't. All I said was that they changed history and neither liked it when they had power

Are the Eastern Night's watch supposed to be bigger?

Like wasn't it said the Westeros version was 20k at full manning, but the Forts can hold 50k total.

When people bring that up I think they also forget that the arm of Dorne was once a full connection till it got shattered by magic so it's not like it's stretch they could have at one point or could once again be.

No they're not, Neanderthals could freely racemix with Homo Sapiens

Each fort can house 10k men
There's five of them so apparently yeah, the Yi Tish Night's Watch was supposed to be bigger

>enemy house is based mad rad

Yi Ti is based on Han China and Westeros is based on England/Scotland/Ireland so when you think about how big the Han empire was compared to that...

Reminder that Cersei was smitten by young Bobby and was very much willing to give the marriage a real try
But then he fucked it all up by being a drunk retard and created the awful cunt Cersei of today
Basically all of it is Bobby B's fault

wow what a tough life, who could fault her fucking her brother and dooming her house for that

What do you mean? We have like 4 places where people have webbed fingers and toes, one of which has full-on cannibal fish people. Not to mention the weirder clans of Beyond the Wall and the stuff in the east we don't even know about, like the Cannibal Sands, Cities of the Bloodless men, City of Shrykes, and City of the Winged Men.
Brindled men are just an exaggerated imagining of pygmies.

no, you are gay though

I wish GRRM would expand upon Sothoryos, and beyond Asshai in general

Why doesn’t Bradamante establish himself in the threads anymore?

I love all the maps being posted, but I got a question.

Does the placement of the neck make sense though? I imagine that Moat Cailin and Greywater Watch are placed in the equivalent of the Florida Everglades, which would place them further south in Westeros, not bordering the North.

Wrong, fatman loves his subversions. Asoiaf is about the world returning to a high fantasy state opposed to lord of the rings where magic is fading away.

The swamplands in the Neck were made by magic of the children. It's probably out of place because magic created it.

D&D are so fucking short sighted that it never occurred to them that they would not have gotten so much flack for season five (besides Dorne) if they had actually showed Stannis’s army suffering and if they included like a two minute scene showing Shireen, Sylese and Stannis himself suffering from hunger and the freezing cold. It just didn’t look desperate enough to warrant butchering a character and murdering a child like that, I think that’s the core of the problem. That’s entirely on them.

I thought that the battle happened not too far from King's Landing.
Also, I'm just now learning that such battle‒often called the Loot Train Attack or Second Field of Fire‒actually occurred on the Goldroad... Wtf... Why would they not use the Roseroad? Do people not realize how much slower it is to travel a road that isn't a highway?

Attached: Battle of the Goldroad.png (984x458, 993K)

Bobby B did literally nothing wrong.

Even if he was ignorant of the fact that he was a cuck he shouldn’t have been such a horrible dad to a kid he thought was his son and heir. Joffrey would have been a great kid if his dad paid attention to him, and he would have made a fantastic king. Also Robert shit the bed by being a terrible brother and made Stannis resentful and Renly entitled.

Also I should add go back to freecucks, Robert fucking sucks and only you literal cuckold worshipers like him

Its the middle ages user white men had every right to treat their wives as machines to make children and nothing more.

SEETHING

i always like this one but sothoryos should be much larger

why did they change the qt redhead magic girl in rags to asian tree elves armed with grenades?

Cause the tree elfs make more sense in a fantasy way.

Sothoryos sounds like a awesome place.

>"Some of that is, Here there be dragons," Martin cautioned. "It's beyond the world they know." Of the other continents yet to be explored, Martin said he "deliberately" kept Sothoryos mysterious, to echo real-life history: "Even though Africa was known to Europe from the earliest days of ancient Greece,” he said, “we knew relatively little about sub-Saharan Africa."

>He chuckles at the complaints he gets from fans about the lack of boundaries on his maps: "What's this Ulthos thing over here? Is it just a big island? Or is it another continent?"

maybe because they were still collecting some of the wheat and all? so they passed in the middle of the area to make it easier

based, but is there a hi-res digital version of this without the creases like OPs?

GoT requires the reader to frequently read between the lines, particularly when it comes to events, areas and peoples outside of Westeros and the fact remains that Hardhome was destroyed by something that suspiciously looks like a nuke and afterward, we have the fall of the Valyrian Freehold that happens essentially overnight and results in massive geological upheavals, again implying the Faceless Men used nukes in the unstable volcano/mines on the Valyrian peninsula.

Attached: map Valyrian_Freehold.png (581x468, 49K)

Horseniggers destroyed most of them

I love you Preston.
Why would Hardhome be targeted by the faceless men though?

sure >> tiny dot cc/planetos
it's cleaner.

> The Wildlings aren't cavemen, and they are as diverse north of the wall as the kingdoms south of it.

It’s mentioned again and again that the Wildings have no metal working capability (beyond gold ornaments and the Thenns utilizing bronze) and the only metal weapons and armor they have, have been looted from rangers of the Nights Watch or acquired via maritime smugglers.

Now an analogy can be made with American Indians eagerly using European metal weapons and tools while not having the ability to make their own but this doesn’t work when we’re talking about the North vs. the South, where the Northmen use simply chainmail hauberks while in the Southern kingdoms, plate armor is so common that Tywin can equip Tyrion’s Mountain Clan troops with armor.

I’m not suggesting this means GoT is shit, just that GRRM uses whatever tech however he sees fit.

>Ibbenese aren't human either
>The offsprings between them and humans are infertile

No, there are a couple of references to Ibbense breeding with humans, Brown Ben Plumm for example mentions an Ibbense ancestor.

As another user suggested, the Ibbense are analogs for Neanderthals.

>>If Robert could take a hint.
>Aerys ordered his execution before he rose up. There really was no choice for Robert but to rebel by then.

Implying this wasn't concocted by Jon Arryn to justify his rebellion against the Iron Throne.

Aerys had no reason to demand Robert's head, his beef was with House Stark but by spreading the rumor that Aerys also wanted to wipe out House Baratheon, (who were cousins with House Targaryen) Jon Arryn could convince the other noble houses of Westeros that the Targaryens could unfairly and arbitrarily order the destruction of their houses also.

Wrong one dummy

> Reminder that Cersei was smitten by young Bobby and was very much willing to give the marriage a real try
> But then he fucked it all up by being a drunk retard and created the awful cunt Cersei of today

Cersei was an awful cunt from the day she was born and had been fucking Jaime for years prior to marrying Robert (presumably only anally and orally, as she’d have needed to keep her hymen intact).

One way or another, Cersei would have eventually turned on Robert.

Attached: cersei-2.jpg (1095x1645, 280K)

the mad king wasn't mad, he saw the writing on the wall. Jon Arryn was marrying houses to each other, making alliances in blood among kingdoms that bordered each other and he was specifically keeping the targs out of there. The maesters helped them communicate with each other in secret. Rhaegar helped organized the harrenhall tourney because he supported removing his father from throne and was in on the game.
Aerys figured it all out at Duskendale.

Attached: vital.png (1600x1000, 1.24M)

I seriously doubt Robert arranged the marriage so it wasn't about whether he took a hint or not, but as an arranged betrothal Rhaegar and Lyanna were both in the wrong to elope. Betrothal is an important contract that basically held feudal society together, they both committed one of the worst things you could do in that kind of a system. Not even Kings were free of it, and when they did go back on a betrothal it held serious consequences. It was just one more strike out that proved the Targaryens wouldn't abide by their own system but expected others to, aka Tyranny.

>Joffrey would have been a great kid if his dad paid attention to him

No, Joffrey was already genetically damaged by his mother and father being siblings and his grandfather and grandmother being 1st cousins.

Attached: Tywin & Johanna Lannister.jpg (468x338, 45K)

dany is turbo inbreed and she's fine

> Why would Hardhome be targeted by the faceless men though?

Hardhome was essentially the Trinity Site for the Faceless Men to try out the nuke/magic technology before deploying it against the Valyrians. They needed someplace reasonably close by yet still secluded, so that the Valyrians wouldn’t know about it and they also didn’t want to kill large numbers of people unnecessarily.

Attached: Trinity_site_plaque.jpg (2379x1960, 1.75M)

Where is the description of the destruction of Hardholme?

how come here there arent the usual "it's a deconstruction" bots?
