I was born in early '95 and I remember this stuff feeling a lot newer to me, as I was already firmly entrenched in watching classic Spongebob, Ed, Edd n' Eddy and some earlier CN shows like Johnny Bravo, Courage, Dexter's Lab, Goosebumps, etc. I watched a lot of Kenan & Kel as well, even though it probably would be for kids about 5 years younger than me.

Because that image is shit. Things like Club penguin, Disney channel, the Wii, and Nickelodeon are right on for the 95-97 kids. But things like Nintendo DS, iphones, phin and ferb, wizards of waverly place, and hannah montana are way too late. That is for early zoomers.

Where so sub-categories like "90's kid" fall in, then? I've always believed you had to be born in at least 1994 to be considered one. Maybe at a stretch, 1995, depending WHEN you were born in that year.

I don't think 96ish kids can be called 90's kids at all. The sweet spot of childhood for 96 is like 2001-2005.

Millenials are are just as annoying and entitled as boomers. I realized a few weeks ago we cant blame boomers for their cancer because it's not just the boomers. My gf was born in fall 95, she's almost 6 years younger than me. There's definitely a gap in childhood and teen things we both grew up knowing, she didn't even fucking know what AIM was, but it's not bad and we can relate, I at least am aware of Bratz dolls, Paramore, and iCarly being popular with kids a bit younger than me, we both know Shrek, Scott Pilgrim, Panic at the Disco She has brothers and sisters born in early 98, 99, and 01 though, and I can't relate to them at all.

You Asian or Indian? I knew a lot of Asian/Indian kids who basically couldn't relate to any of the white kids because their parents were too strict and never allowed them to watch TV or play video games. My Nepalese friend's first gaming console was a 360 (and he barely ever had games for it).

Nah I'm white, I did have some tv in later childhood but it was only shitty australian programs because we didn't have any other channels other than abc that played kid's shows. As for a console/nintendo DS or whatever, parents just refused to get one ever for whatever reason. Had a family computer though and played a lot of miniclip and early runescape but didn't have a real video game until I was 11 which was AOE3.

To be a 90's kid you would have had to have spent most if not all of your childhood in that era. No one born after 92 fits that category.
