Best James Bond

Roger Moore was the best James Bond with the worst movies. He was perfect for the role, his only fault was playing the character too long that he was too old for the role by the time he finished.

When they cast Sean Connery the first time, they wanted Roger Moore instead but he was busy.

When they cast Lazenby, they wanted Connery but he didn't want to

When they cast Connery again, they wanted Lazenby, but he didnt want to.

When they cast Moore, they wanted Dalton but he was busy

When they cast Dalton, they wanted Brosnan but he was busy...

It has never been perfect.

But to answer your question, Connery for the first 4 movies was the best.

Except you're completely wrong, all of his movies were good except for Moonraker. Moore is the ultimate pleb filter, separates casual Bond fans from the real deal

Moore has always been James Bond for me.

I thought he was legitimately gay for years because of the movie Boat Trip

Moore was busy with Saint. Conney got sick of the role. Lazenby was sick of acting/being famous. They got Connery back with tons of money. Cant remember what Dalton was busy with, but by then Moore was done The saint. Brosnan was doing Remington Steele so they got Dalton.

It's why all the actors except Lazenby(who was 29) were arguably too old for the role.

He played Bond for lols but did have some of the better movies

Spy Who Loved Me is a top five Bond film

SWLM is the only Moore film worth watching.

They just seem so campy. It's about a spy who kills people, why does everything have to feel like a gay pride parade?

The post-Moonraker ones are arguably the most sexually charged and deviant of the whole series. For Your Eyes Only has the very young girl trying to get Bond. Octoussy has the dominant title character. Bond is again dominated sexually by Grace Jones in A View To A Kill.

Octopussy was the first Bind movie I ever saw. I was at my friend's sleepover birthday party and that's what his dad rented from Erol's video.
