Is this accurate?
I expect Endgame to take up the last open kino spot.
Is this accurate?
I expect Endgame to take up the last open kino spot.
>captain marvel punches thanos to undo snappening
>kino
No more kino spots
>homecoming that high
>ant man and dr. strange not higher
Is pretty good, but could use some work.
i dont trust anyone who can call superhero flicks "good"
it's literally pulp for illiterate manbabies put on screen
>Decent
>Hulk
Stopped reading
decent is the new word for absolute trash?
Ant-Man 1 and 2 switch places with Iron Man 3 and GotG Vol. 2, Ragnarök switches places with Homecoming and the ratings are bad, decent, good and great.
>Decent is bottom tier
What's it like to be this devoted to capeshit?
Out of 21 films there's 3 I would watch for pure enjoyment and not "I like comic books", that's a pretty shitty ratio. Is it so hard to make good movies that happen to have superheroes in them?
>Is it so hard to make good movies that happen to have superheroes in them?
It's only hard if your name isn't Zack Snyder.
The real tiers are:
>Trash
>Not terrible
>Okay
>Good
>homecoming
>kino
Fuck off jr.
Decent > Burn it with fire
Good > Bad
Great > Average
Kino >Good
Also
Civil War, and Home comming should be with Strange and Ant man, Ant Man and the Wasp with The Dark World, Iron man and Ragnarok With Winter Soldier, and change Iron man 3 with Iron Man 2
>Trash
>Mediocre
>Fine
>Good
this, and homecoming should be in trash tier
Where would Into the Spider-Verse place on this ranking, for comparison?
No, it's really easy, as Marvel has proven time after time. You just have bad taste.
This. The thing no one really wants to say is the fact that most of the marvel movies are not good and have been conpletely forgotten. It's all dust in the wind.
I bet you like von Trier and think you have taste.
No it's that after Iron man 1 most of the films don't have any soul and the only reason they made any money is from the gimmick of a shared universe. Every once in a while they make an ok or good movie but yeah that is a terrible ratio
>capeshit
>anywhere but national embarrassment tier
they all go into the "trash" tier
Yeah pretty much. I don't do this often, so feel free to be proud.
/thread
I now remember Civil War.
My Lord that movie was shite.
What was wrong with Civil War?
shoehorned Ironman, Blacked Panther and Spiderman all into a captain america film. what a shame after the second one.
>all capeshit is at least "Decent"
aside from that, swap Civil War and Black Panther. Civil War sucked and Black Panther was kino.
Yea no clue why it's rated so high. Absolute borefest when I first torrented it
The premise for Civil War doesnt even make sense
>Avengers show up to fight a bunch of guys who were trying to detonate a chemical weapon in the middle of a market square
>During the fight there is some collateral damage
>NOOOOOOOOO REEEEEEE BAN THESE PEOPLE WHO JUST SAVED ALL OUR LIVES BECAUSE THEY AREN'T LITERALLY PERFECT
Absolutely retarded, was the Civil War storyline this fucking stupid in the comic?
>Black Panther was kino.
Only if you are American, for the rest of the world went from average to mediocre. And it has a cool villain but it it is just The Lion King liveaction
Ant Man and the Wasp should be Good tier. Not as good as the first one
Despite the backlash, Captain Marvel is also Good tier if you don't let your hatred of Brie Larson affect your viewing of the movie. When the shit dies down more people will acknowledge this.
Homecoming is Great, not Kino.
The rest I agree with
This is closer
>capeshit
>anything other than terrible
you need to shift everything down like 3 spots because the best capeshit can ever achieve is being passable
>Medicore
Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Thor 2, Hulk, Age of Ultron
>Decent
Iron Man 3, Iron Man 2, Thor, Guardians 2, Ant Man and the Wasp, Captain America 1, Dr Strange, Homecoming, Ant Man
>Good
Avengers, Thor Ragnarok, Civil War, Infinity War
>Great
Winter Soldier, Guardians 1, Iron Man
>Kino
None of them
In the comic its because a hero accidentally sets himself off where he has powers equivalent of a nuke. takes out quite a bit including school buses with kids so no way that would mentioned in a marvel movie.
that causes the government to force heroes to register and that is what the civil war is about. the movie could have had some cool aspects from the comic like the government releases and enlists villains to hunt down heroes on the run.
have sex
spiderman was shit, only the villain was any good
replace it with ragnarok
They're all trash
No marvel movie is kino get a grip child.
>the government releases and enlists villains to hunt down heroes on the run.
what_could_possibly_go_wrong.jpg
Grouped into franchises as they're similar enough.
>good
Thor
GotG
Dr Strange
>ok
Iron Man
Avengers
Captain Marvel
>bad
Captain America
Antman
>not seen
Spiderman
Black Panther
Hulk
Why does it begin with "decent" and go up from there? Logically it should begin with "literal garbage" and end with "decent".
they're movies for children you're embarrassing yourself
>unironically believeing it's pretentious not to like capeshit
neck yourself faggot.
well yeah all the spiderman villains just gang up to beat him to within an inch of his life
t. Excited for Shazam
The only "modern" capeshit flicks I enjoyed was Thor: Ragnarok and the two GOTG flicks and I only liked the second because Kurt Russell elevated it.
It honestly baffles me how there are people who think these are good movies. Have they never seen a good movie in their lives? Sure, these are a tad better than what fox did with Fantastic Four or Spiderman or most of the X men movies but that´s not really an acomplishment.
Comic adaptations can be good though. Watchmen is good. It has memorable characters dealing with actual life issues and conflicts, the aesthetic of the movie fits the narrative and themes and the plot is meaningful and life changing for the involved characters.
Sin City (the first one) was good. It had an unique aesthetic when it came out and a distinctive aproach to narration. It is honestly the only comic adaptation that actually feels like a comic. The stories and characters where actually pretty comic like too.
Comparatively the Marvel movies all look kind of the same, the status quo never changes and when it does it reverts right back without exploring the consequences, most of the events are basically filler movies to delay/build up the Thanos arc story. The characters barely grow emotionally, their relationships barely develop in 10 years and so on. There is really little to keep one invested or interested emotionally in these movies so when a character dies is really difficult to give a fuck. Honestly these are passable entertainment at best. At worst they are just visual effects snorefests... but almost never good movies, let alone outstanding ones.
My objectively unbiased opinion:
>Bad
Iron Man 2, Thor 2, Avengers 2, Black Panther
>Decent
Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Avengers, Iron Man 3, Doctor Strange, Spider Man Homecoming, Captain Marvel
>Good
Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Ant Man 1&2, Winter Soldier, Civil War
>Great
Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor Ragnarok
>Kino
Infinity War
ragnarok up to the kino
homecoming down at least two tiers
or please explain to me how homecoming is good
Was spiderman with ragnarok and infinity war with age of ultron
That plot line was so fucking stupid. I got tricked by Yea Forums posting pictures of Peter's death into thinking that the arc would be good, but no it's actually the stupidest most contrived thing ever
>Peter takes a bullet for Captain America
>Like half the cast of the Avengers is gathered around him
>"hey yeah so I'm kind of bleeding out on the sidewalk here and all of my super villains are out of prison and are on the way to assassinate Aunt May now that my ID is exposed, could any of you do me a solid and deal with them while I webswing to the hospital so I don't die please?"
>"lol fuck that, see you around, kid. or not."
>everyone just fucking leaves and Peter is forced to go fight Goblin and Rhino until he bleeds to death because apparently LITERALLY nobody in all of Marvel cares enough about him to prevent an easily-avoidable death
Absolute horseshit. I legitimately felt insulted reading it. Fuck Marvel comics. Peter's death in Spider-Verse was 999999999x better executed.
>MCU
>kino
Choose one.
same
>I bet you like von Trier
I'm marathoning The House That Jack Built, but I h8 Lars von Trier and Denmark
only nolan's capeshit will ever be near kino
Maybe something's off with me, but I find most of the Marvel movies really boring. Some of them are utter shit, some of them are okay-ish, but despite them being designed to be flashy and exciting, they don't hold my attention at all, maybe it's the pacing.
The only ones I was somewhat emotionally invested in were Winter Soldier, Iron Man 1 and Strange. Infinity War was fine. Ant-Man (didn't see 2) and GotG had some quality quips. Ragnarok had this amazing mixture of being a superhero movie and a parody of a superhero movie at the same time.
While not being the worst movie in the series, Civil War was disappointing.
>decent/watchable
Thor 1-2, Iron Man 2-3, Spider-man homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy 2
>ok
Ant-man, Dr. Strange, Avengers 1, Avengers 2, Captain America 1, Thor 3
>good
Captain America 2-3, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man 1
>haven't seen/capeshit fatigue
Hulk
Ant-Man 2
Black Panther
Infinity War (dropped after 30mins, seen some scenes later on YT)
Captain Marvel
>First Avenger not Kino
Wait why does everyone hate homecoming besides some bad CGI on the suit it was great and pretty fun.
This is some stinky bait.
Spider man is Tony's sidekick. Also the zoomer humor is cringe.
