Great scene but it doesn't match the tension in No Country
They were relatively short but I really enjoyed the shootout scenes in Hell or High Water
>not Heat
this
No Country was a good movie but I can't even remember the shootout scene. Couldn't have been that good of a c\scene
The standoff scene in Wind River was GOAT (which lead to a shootout)
Man this one was such a let down for me. I don't know if I fucked up and went in expecting something different but it really didn't hit for me. Good scene though.
When the injun gets heemed
Qty. 1 (You) for semi original alternative

Damn i want to watch that but just finished Few Dollars More and dont want to spoil myself for the next one when i eventually get around to it
Outside of Heat which is the best
Open Range was pretty good

>Few Dollars More
i think FDM might be my favourite; that second watch gets me every time
Outside of obvious ones like Heat, I liked the one in The Town

As bad as True Detective season 2 was in many people’s opinion (not mine), the episode 4 shootout was pretty decent.
If the tracking shot escape counts, the Season 1 episode 4 ghetto scene is even better.
the s2 shootout was really bad in my opinion, both visually and just the way it was directed, s1 is a much better example
There arent any shootouts in this movie. Thats the point. Itsan antiWestern

FFDM >>>>>>> TGTBTU
TGTBTU is super over-rated. I was in disbelief watching it and asking myself how this is widely considered the GOAT western.
Spbp based
came here to say this

>standing near car, shooting one direction
>turn 180, continue shooting

it's spaghetti-western schlock
they're all spaghetti-western schlock
anyone who treats them as anything other than spaghetti-western schlock is a big silly billy
but, if you happen to like spaghetti-western schlock scored by enrico moriccone then they are really, really good...
... spaghetti-western schlock
FFDM is great. How are they any more schlock than most of the rest of the genre?
> How are they any more schlock than most of the rest of the genre?
well, they're not really -- that's kinda my point
and since i happen to love spaghetti-western schlock and also think FDM is my favourite or sergio's big 3, then imro For A Few Dollars More is the greatest spaghetti-western schlock in the world
