Yes, but overall the tournament was way too long and boring. And the art lacked the grime of the original gunnm.

The city is still a shithole, but they emphasized how Zalem uses Motorball to pacify the population. Bread and circuses. They all still for Zalem in a crime infested city and with no purpose other than survive. Also we see the first segment through Alita's eyes. Everything was colorful and amusing for her so it has to be the same way to us until she realizes how fucked the city actually is.

Alright bros I'm back from my 4th and final healing. Rosa Salazar IS ALITA! I cant stress how wonderful she was, I fell in love with her character. All the major action scenes are fantastic. Also ive come to appreciate the score more with every viewing, check out the composers uploads on youtube, he has been going in depth on the themes and how he approached writing the music for Alita. ..I love this movie and am counting down the days to home release.

Please give us a sequel. I'm praying for two movies filmed back to back with a tighter budget, that would be the dream.

It was the way George Lopez looked at the end wasn't it? I saw it too.

So I just watched it, I'm convinced that this would be a great miniseries and cutting it down to 2 hours really doesn't do it justice and hurts it overall experience. The hard sequel baiting kinda pisses me off, that was such a unsatisfying ending.

I actually prefer the way it was in the movie to the way it was in the Manga. Felt more believable.
