>Lucas, Spielburg, Jackson, and the rest all do

It's weird, but it actually ruins the movie. Why do filmmakers have a fascination with it? Yes we did it, Spielburg and/or Lucas found it in some dusty closest and it became a running joke, a joke that needs to be retired and the movies need to be reedited to remove it.

One William/Howie scream and I'm walking.

>it actually ruins the movie
Most of the time I don't even hear it, even when I know it's supposed to be in a movie. You people are crazy.

>pencil through folded paper to describe black hole space travel

I don't know why I get so annoyed by it, but it's fucking everywhere. Why do they think it's cute to use it?

It always pulls me right out of a film. Every single time.

Its fairly distinct, you may be a brainlet.

They all think they're part of some in-joke that movie goers will never catch on to.

does Yea Forums prefer the chuck scream or the sneed scream?

No, just smart enough to block it out. Sorry it triggers you.

Don't hear it or block it out, which is it?

Hard to block out when it's two seconds long and screaming on all 7 channels.

I've heard it in Raiders and Phantom Menace and they stand out, but it doesn't bother me. The others I don't think I've deliberately heard.

The wilhelm scream doesn't bother me, but I notice it. Being oblivious to something doesn't make you smart m8, you seem to be the one triggered.

Doesn't bother you, block it out or don't hear it, which is it?

What the fuck did he mean by this?

Howie scream is based

Wilhelm scream is cringe though

It was like 75% bait desu

there's a really generic door opening and closing sound that you hear a lot in video games. when it pops up in movies it totally takes me out of it.

I know that one

I love it when filmmakers add easter eggs to their films but it's has to be visual and subtle. Something to actually look out for like in Pixar movies or the fake products in Tarantino films or that dumbass A113 calarts class number. The wilhelm scream has got to be the most normie easter egg there is and nothing rapes the immersion of a film more than an old, poorly recorded, over acted screech in the middle of a scene.

Naa it's ok

What's with people like this, who think that their being less perceptive is somehow a virtue?
