T2 was shit. Turned "Choose Life," into a cringey rant. Instead of the antics and pitfalls of heroin users we get some poorly done Trailer Park Boys shit where the lads try to scam their way into easy money. Nothing was especially deep about this film and it undid everything the original established.

The eastern block chick wasn't necessary, why was she in the movie? Flashback stuff was good, but for the most part this movie was trash. I was totally disappointed, Trainspotting is one of my favorite movies and I could barely finish this.

I didn't put it in the same class as the first one, just seemed like a nostalgia cash in.

The first Trainspotting was great in so many ways and the bittersweet ending was a huge part of it's appeal. T2 is just a soulless retread/cash grab for a group of old actor buddies.
