Some of them definitley where he's the perfect boyscout who can do no wrong and even if it loks as if he fucked up it was for the right reasons and everything will work out in the end., Then you have versions of him where he might be powerful but does fuck up from time to time with lasting consequences until the next reboot, him also having personal flaws and not be perfect in every aspect of his being.

Exactly. Aside from being vulnerable to certain elements (Magic, Kryptonite) the main flaws of Superman's character is his own humanity. He tries at all times to see the best in people (by classical writing) and becomes sad when they end up failing to do the right thing. His farmboy naivety is a defining trait and flaw of his own character.

Take that horrible Superman movie where he convinces everyone to get rid of their nukes. A grand idea, but Lex uses it against him. Not to mention he can't actually protect the world at all times like his confidence (ego) says he can. Not to mention man needs to learn to operate without the Superman training wheels which is what he realizes at the end.
