Hereditary (2018)
Bold move putting this shot in the picture
more like heREDDITary
so what was the point of this; I have no intentions of watching it but caught the webbum where her brothers stoned driving her to the hospital and then she loses her head
was that it; "dont get high while driving your sister to the hospital?"
Lets just say that is relevant for the story. Dont be a pussy and watch it. Its kino
I went into this movie blind not knowing what it was and really enjoyed the outcome. If you have seen The Witch you will most certainly enjoy Hereditary.
Her mother made him take her with him to a party (which he described as much more wholesome than it was). She's allergic to nuts and is kinda just hanging around. Some girls make brownies with nuts in them while the guy is smoking weed with his friends. She eats a brownie and can't breath so he tries to drive her home where he inhaler is or to a hospital or something, I forget. But on the way to the party, we saw a pole they passed had an occult symbol on it. As they near the same pole, her throat is getting tighter and tighter, and she sticks her head out the window desperate for air. He's speeding at this point because she needs help fast. Head gone. Dude's in shock. Goes to bed. Mom wakes up in the morning and finds the girl's body in the car.
>You will TAKE your sister and that's that, young man!
Fuckin hate moms like that
He was trying to evade an animal iirc
Reminder that in reality the teen would be investigated for 1) fleeing the scene, 2) driving under the influence, so full bloodwork done, as well as everyone at the party questioned, and 3) negligence to report the crime. "It was shock" is not a valid excuse, it would still go to trial if the state decided to prosecute. This is a real shit flick, the basic premise rips off Rosemary's Baby, and nothing is substantiated, only disgusting gore like this, the head-sawing, etc for shock effect. Modern horror at its worst.
:)
why didn't they cast the superior shapiro sister
Imagine if an anti-Semite made an incoherent/surreal movie of cartoonishly bad things happening to or being perpetrated by Jews.
That's A24 with white people.
Hey A24, you know who actually practices witchcraft for real in the modern age, to include mutilations and sacrifices? Africans living in London.
Why must she have such incredible milkers? I would leave my gf a million times just to suckle them for a moment.
oh look a head
Reminder this was 100% the moms fault
FACT: to like this movie you had to have had a terrible mother. FACT!
know the difference between a bad mom and a good mom
>LOOK MA I'M MAKING A HORROR MOVIE
Major Karl judges you for your shit taste.
that's literally life in mexico.
Scariest part of the movie despite at the time seeming the most innocent
Rosemary Vick went to the absolute extreme to save her son. The mom in hereditary was just a bitch who irresponsibly forced her son to take his young sister to a high school party that clealry will have booze/drugs etc
I didnt understand this movie. I just started looking at my phone after the 2nd seance. How did it end?
What the fuck is this post
You must have graduated from middle school to be able to post here
That scene with the pole was one of the best ever i've seen in a cinema, i remember after it happened, you couldn't hear a noise in the cinema, everyone was awfully quiet, just absorbing that scene.
Seethe
this was the only part that scared me. By the time the naked people came round i was crying with laughter
based schizo poster
When I watched this at first I mistook the nuts the girls were making the brownies with for psilocybin mushrooms and that when the sister came upstairs to the room where her bro was smoking, she was tripping and on the verge of a major freakout/breakdown.
this unironically
>not getting it right away
>not breaking the silence () by commenting loudly "dude, this movie's nuts!"
The Witch is one of the best films, horror or otherwise, of the 2010s. Hereditary is standard nu-horror schlock
what is this? a nigger?
100% this
If you liked VVitch you'll notice that this was VVitch in modern times. Starring King Paimon as Black Phillip and the other characters I won't look up as the other ones, and including the finale flying. How many times can the "twist" be magic is real and evil wins? Oh by the way Midsomar is the same.
>All those absolute incidental and random events
>Just as we, the cult, planned haha!!
Took my off
The funniest thing is, if they did make a movie about modern African voodoo in London, it would be huge, and it would be huge because of black audiences.
why would you let your daughter be a part of this?
