and you incels claim that is the movie of the decade
And you incels claim that is the movie of the decade
One technical mistake doesn't stop it from being a great movie. If that were the case no movie would be considered good, you pretentious retard.
>One technical mistake doesn't stop it from being a great movie
No. But it being absolutely terrible does
Nobody cares.
It was so fucking boring. Blade Runner is a shit series. It's so shit it even makes a point about it in both films, assuring the audience that literally any other location in the galaxy would have been more exciting and interesting than the small shithole earth story.
Why the fuck did that guy even need to have his company HQ on Earth? The planet is a total shithole, why bother?
Who are you trying to impress?
I heard the guy who played Kirk browses this board
Meh. I like it. My favourite movie from 2017. What's yours?
Have sex
I don't watch movies. I go to film school.
I don't know, I kind like that they bothered to compose each shot instead of just throwing in generic light and use it for everything
i do fag
>I don't watch movies. I go to film school.
Isn't that contradictory? Why even go to film school, then?
> I go to film school.
Yet you think BR2049 is a terrible movie. Maybe go to your classes once in a while, m8? It'd do wonders.
Nice cinematography doesn't make a good movie, it just makes for a nice slideshow. Seriously are you pretentious and stupid enough to think that B2049 is some kind of work of art? It was a garbage movie dude, a sequel cash-in with a completely emotionless plank of wood as the lead.
For all the retards who don't remember the movie:
the lighting is different because there is a MOVING LIGHT SOURCE in this scene. Intra-diegetically, if you will.
Why would a CEO of a space corporation make his office so poorly lit and unusable? Most of the space was just decorative water
>Nice cinematography doesn't make a good movie, it just makes for a nice slideshow.
I never even mentioned its cinematography, which only goes to show how truly prententious you are.
>is some kind of work of art?
It quite literally is. Good or bad, that opinion may vary. But it is indeed a work of art and there's nothing you can do about it.
> a sequel cash-in
You're saying this as is if the movie as a run-of-the-mill Hollywood blockbuster. As if we had dozens of others Blade Runner movies.
He was blind. What's he care how the lights are?
Why bring up a minor lighting continuity mistake and not the clunky mess the script becomes in the final act?
Why would he have all that water? If he fell in would he drown? He probably has to practice walking perfectly straight, otherwise he'll drift off and fall into his stupid office pool
I mentioned cinematography because it's the only thing bladerunner shills are usually capable of bringing up. I guess in your case you can't even do that since you don't have any points other than "Nuh uh it's good". Typical brainlet. You can't name one thing this movie did right other than positioning the camera correctly and making things the right color.
>one
(you)
Congratulations, you're as autistic as CWC.
If you actually saw the film you would know the light source is constantly moving around the room you fucking retard.
>rebbitor tourists claim 2049 is the movie of the decade
fixed for you OP. No one with taste gives Hacknueve any thought.
this whole thread is bait
BR2049 is pretty bad. Completely lacking in any sort of structure, every scene seemed to be anchored to some boring technological concept that the creators dreamed up. It's like what Tarkovsky says about the exoticization of technology in movies. People like the creators of that piece of shit are more interested in showing you how crazy and cool technology is rather than actually presenting anything meaningful. The result is an empty soulless movie.
they are right on this one, though. it's Yea Forums who has shit taste
Don't refer to redditors as "they" as if you aren't one of them
>there are people who unironically think BR2049 is a great film
Are these the same people who shit up the board talking about superhero movies all day? It's not even one of Villeneuve's best. It's an utterly medicore film.
I like BR2029. they happen to like it, too, while Yea Forums hates it. that doesn't make me a redditor
It's the best sci fi film of this entire decade, alongside Under the Skin and Hard to be a God
what? now I hate this movie
No, but the fact that you browse Reddit does
>It's not even one of Villeneuve's best.
Strawman. Nobody is claiming this.
BR2049 was unironically the best from 2017.
>Under the Skin
Pesudo-art-house garbage for babies who couldn't understand Tarkovsky's films.
Blade Runner 2049 is a generic sci-fi action movie that puts up airs of being deep and philosophical without actually brining anything to the table. It's bait for the brainlets to make them think they're smart.
>Phantom Thread
>Killing of a Sacred Deer
>The Florida Project
>A Ghost Story
Each one of these are a thousand times better than 3049. But I suppose those are all crap to you because there weren't enough explosions.
that sounds reddit af. you have to go back.
Kek
those are good as well, A Ghost Story was pretty cool. but my fav was 2049.
>But I suppose those are all crap to you because there weren't enough explosions.
huh?
I like it but I never claimed that it was the movie of the decade.
Oh it shows, user, it shows.
At least no you admit you're a pleb
It's not even a technical mistake, the light source is constantly spinning around throughout the whole scene
You, and the person that made that pic, need professional help.
?
I love this movie and can’t wait for DUNE
>too insecure to share his tastes
>for babies who couldn't understand Tarkovsky's films
fucking lmao the absolute out of the ass strawmanning
NAME 8 GOOD FILMS, FAGGOT, NAME THEM RIGHT NOW OR I'M LABELING YOU A PLEB FOR ETERNITY.
Under the skin was good it had scarjo in the nakey, idiot
>Pesudo
The best movies of this decade are The Master, A Serious Man and Neon Demon.
