Provide a single non-autistic reason to not use VLC

windows media player

VLC crashes often on my PC.
Media player classic is lighter, faster and never crashes. Also it's free.

This is my main issue with it

MPC-HC

I was waiting for somebody to post this

I remember having that issue all the time fifteen years ago. How have they still not fixed it?

realplayer

yeah, you guys must have a shitty pc, that doesn't happen in mine

Use this. Trust me.

it never crashes for me but i mostly watch kino on my smart tv. still, until you experience issues with it why change? just because some incels on a mongolian loli anime website told you?

are there any media players that let you use a scanline filter?

Windows 10 media player is superior in every way

happens once in a blue moon, and most of the time i probably don’t even notice it since I’m making out with my girl

i only use it because the vlsub thing is comfy
show me a better alternative

You can also trick it out to mimic 60fps, but its a bit of a hassle. Good for practical action, animation and sports but not so much with drama and cgi shit.

this.

Doesn't have to be a shitty pc. It didn't happen on my 2009 acer aspire, but it does happen on my 2 year model asus. Lazy devs and bad decoding on VLC's part.

Am I the only one who uses Plex?

That's your PC's shitty processing power, not the player.
t. Used to have that problem until I got a better PC

this
and this
are the only good ones. MPC slightly better desu

I use Plex. But only for streaming torrented movies to my TV.

>That's your PC's shitty processing power, not the player
Then why does this issue never happen in the same pc with other players?

My VLC freezes regularly (needs process to be killed if it happens), newest VLC version, Core i7-3770K, 16GB RAM, Win10
>works for me
Please PISS OFF to Linux with that AUTISTIC SOLIPSISTIC PIECE OF SHIT attitude
t. someone who heard this in Linux forums too often and ultimately it usually turned out to be a bug in the software.

This works great

It does, it's just that fewer people use those players so they get reported less
t. Used those other players and still ran into issues regarding my potato's processing power
