Should the Mass Effect adaptation be a TV series or a movie series?
I personally think it should be a TV series just because the best part of the vidya was the long conversations that drove character development and a movie with only 2 hours wouldn't be able to take full advantage of that.
>Keelah, these upgrades are amazing. They will serve the fleet back home greatly. Do not pay attention to what I am doing in your data banks, habibi, focus only on my ass, darling.
they are still making this? i thought mass effect was kill after andromeda

Why? ME1 had a decent story but it was completely ruined by the 3 games that followed it. You can't salvage it at this point.

How exactly do you make a cinematic adaption of a game with no canon choices? When you play ME shephard can be a completely different person from somebody else's.
That's what they're doing. They just slap a known label on it. Hence all the distortions and abortions of remakes we see all the time.

I really enjoyed the decisions in this game, not only for myself, but seeing how other people made them and why.
Most people let the Council die out of malice or anger. But I let them die because it was the practical thing to do, and killing Sovereign was the #1 priority in my mind. Far more important than risking the battle for some politicians.
If I had a practical chance to do so I would have saved them of course. But others hated the Council to the extent that they cheered as they died. So to me that kind of dynamic was interesting.

Name ONE good vidya to TV/Movie adaptation. It's ok, I'll wait.
Cooper Morgan
well if alita managed to be the first good anime adaptation then the first good vidya adaptation should be pretty soon
>box office hit >apart of pop culture >didn't deviate from lore >Soundtrack is one of the most well known in cinema history >made at the peak of it's popularity
Have we all forgotten that the first MK movie is still the best vidya movie adaptation but Hollywood never learned a thing from it?
They should make a new game instead. Fucking anthem tanked bioware and now all is lost. Andromeda was fun, best combat they have ever done.
James Rivera
Have you guys ever seen Mr. Nobody? It's a mediocre movie where Jared Leto experiences different timelines his life could have taken and how certain decisions impacted his life. I think a long-form TV series in this structure would perfectly adapt an RPG like Mass Effect

if only Bioware went bankrupt and EA sold the Mass Effect rights to CD Projekt...
