That isn't Batman Beyond
Perchance to Dream
Ones that stood out:
Bruce loses his memory and becomes a slave in a mine
Almost got him
The one where the villians put Batman on trial
The Gray Ghost
Heart of Ice
Beat me to the Grey Ghost episode. ISeeYouAreAManOfTaste.jpg
they all good
>batman in my basement
I would agree with 95% of the episodes.
Feat of Clay.
The one where harley quinn fartbombs the bat mobile and they have to let her out to take a shit
>DC
No thanks.
Fucking based.
Oh yeah that's the one where she rapes Nightwing LOL
The one where Scarecrow kills best Batgirl.
The Man Who Killed Batman
anons of class
this too
His Silicon Soul
I have a pretty vivid memory of Batman saying "shit" while he's flying the Batwing. I wanna say it was in one of the Clayface episodes. It really shocked me as a youngster to hear him use such language, but it's not the first time I heard adult language where there probably was none.
...
"I Am the Night" and any episodes with Ra's al Ghul are good.
The first Clayface episode 2 parter. Written by Marv Wolfman. Directing, tone, pacing, story .... all genius.
I liked the 2 part 2 face episodes. Made me realize i like two face as a villian
the mine episode is called The Forgotten and its' one of my faves as well tasteful user
I like the April Fools day episode where jokers entire plan is to just steal shit with laughing gas
RIP Captain Clown.
Fuckin OMAC scared the shit out of me as a kid
This of course.
fear of victory i think
That one when Bruce goes blind and that old lady whose name eludes me builds him a helmet with infrared vision that inserts visual information directly into his brain.
i remember really enjoying the two face origin and ras al ghul introduction. the one where he forgets about being batman and the one that predicted bioshock were also pretty kino.
P.O.V. was kino. Lots of tv police tropes.
Was going to say this
Ras Al ghul episodes and that one where Ivy grew a bunch of mutant pod plant kids
how did they get away with this? also is croc canonically a pedophile?
R'as sacred me as kid.
Baby doll is an adult in all her appearances on the series. Meaning any shipping, Canon or otherwise, as well as all art, Canon or otherwise, is 100% legal.
>That episode where Croc tried to kill Batman with a really big rock.
>pedophilia legal loophole as a plot-point
Clayface has always been underrated.
I'm only stating the cold hard facts. You opinions and/or what you do with this info is all you.
Some clay blob man created a little girl out of himself and he developed a fatherly relationship towards her. Later she got reabsorbed and could never come back and he was quite upset about it.
>episode about fucking a loli because she's technically an adult
>episode about creating your own loli
what a show
Bane?
oh no
is nolan actually a genius
lovecraftian
he was a big guy
The trial
This one is really good just for the animation alone.
On Leather Wings is an underrated one.
Not enough Scarecrow love in here either.
Zoomer marvel zombies opinion is discarded.
Heart of Ice
This was definitely one of my favorites. Lesley Thompkins was the woman's name.
This and the first Scarecrow episode that was broadcast both have cues of the original 1989 theme. I wish they'd have used it more.
DELET

I failed you. I wish there was another way for me to say it. But I cannot. I can only pray, pray that you can somehow hear me, and forgive me. In a place where a warm hand waits for mine.
Yea Forums, this is the superior Batman.
What a great piece
It still blows my mind mark Hamill is the voice of joker. And is the best voice of joker.
Uh what?
2016 reboot film
youtube.com
Take a good look, Doctor. I've been like this for nearly fifty years and I haven't aged a day. I have become what many men only dream of: An immortal. Yet there isn't a single day, a single hour, a single minute that I do not think of death. It OBSESSES me, even now.
Believe me, you're the only one who cares.
The movie Batman and Harley Quinn
Oh boy
Anyone else prefer the comfy animation of the 90s compared to todays?
She’s not a kid, she’s a dwarf.
You beg? In my nightmares, I see my Nora from behind the glass, begging to me with frozen eyes. How I've longed to see that look frozen on you!
the one where the Joker cuts a guy off in traffic
would you rather have a reputation as a pedo or a dwarf fucker?
Absolutely.
It's not just nostalgia, it really looked better.
Everything these days is either anime or just ugly as fuck.
>yeah always as in never
its always top 5 on all lists.
>They call me... YELLOW SKINNED WACKY MAN
How did they get away with this?
also love this episode because the creeper doesn't give two shits about who the joker is at all.
>Almost got him
Great episode one of my favorite of all time next to that one from samurai Jack with all the bounty hunters
>joker lets the guy go in exchange for a favor
>years later
>guy is happy with family
>phone rings
>joker wants him to say the n-word
You say that now and then you remember the fucking wolf estrogen episode.
Charlie was a cool guy. Dude BTFO the Joker and got away with it.
youtu.be
is he right Yea Forums?

Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on a summer's day with the hot wind in your face and a warm hand to hold. Oh, yes... I'd kill for that.
What is the animated Batman where he had no cape and also the mask fully covered his face?
(Additionally either he had rocket boots or I just made that up, but the other two things are true.)
That's literally all I remember and I need your help identifying it.
I loved Batman actually havin' a laugh at the joker's expense
Perchance to Dream
They can't all be winners.
Batman Beyond, sequel series
batman: bed bath and beyond
Oh I know.
The shit with the fucking Sewer King or w/e his name was will forever be one of my earliest memories of the series, too.
Fucking based.
Doesn't look right, or I'm remembering it wrong.
Are you sure there's no more other capeless Batmen?
>not a real blonde
dropped
Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow
I like the ninja one and the ones with clay face
Still the greatest Western animated series. Will it ever get surpassed?
Batman Beyond > Animated series
Probably not.
The one where penguin tries to go legit but society wont allow it.
That's a big screencap.
and then the joker says "see, I warned you about living in a society"
superman was better. not as boring
Mask of the Phantasm was unironically based as well.
how can the cartoon have more maturity in its little finger than the burton/schumacher films
also boring. and out of character for batman
Kys
the episode where Batgirl becomes a nudist
i wont
schumacher has gay so his mind isn't fully functional
No stop being a faggot.
You too.
>Mask of the Phantasm
Absolute kino.
What a funky episode.
Name a more kino ending
youtube.com
Also the Batman Beyond episode with Mr Freeze is better than Heart of Ice
its not faggot to say this show was boring, since it was, and that superman was better.
>Anyone else prefer the comfy animation of the 90s compared to todays?
Yes because the artists and animators cared about their craft. I don't want to pick on modern stuff completely because TAS was out the norm back then. What TAS showed us was the potential of cartoons when in the hands of gifted people.
>Anyone else prefer the comfy animation of the 90s compared to todays?
woah, hot take
S4 Batgirl was sexy
>I use to admire what the Gray Ghost stood for.
>I'm not the Gray Ghost.
>I can see that now.
>As a kid I use to watch you with my father. The Gray Ghost was my hero.
>So it wasn't all for nothing.
>out of character for batman
Because it was the transition period to the Batman we know. Bruce putting on the mask was symbolizing the turning point.
>Bruce putting on the mask was symbolizing the turning point.
i mean the melodrama of how he was mourning his parents at all. batman is always implied to care about his parents, true, but the only time it's actually shown is in ham-handed ways like in "timeless classic" motp. it was just shittily written. it's better when they just have it as a background trait and let him work.
>100+ posts
>nobody even mentions scarface
anons, I am disappoint
Off by 1?
HA!
Only a BAKA is off by 1!
Eye'm not a baka!
Eye'm the strongest!
Because he was at a turning point from Bruce to Batman. Andrea nearly made him drop all that he planned, it was the most vulnerable Bruce had been in a long time.
Dwarf fucker.
Trust me, I dated a 4 foot Asian for a while and shit was cash.
Feat of Clay
Batman Returns is too good for y'all. That was the thing. End it.
it seemed unrealistic to me. but it's been too long since i've seen it to really get detailed. the movie had bigger problems that just made it boring, worse than picking on a single scene for being a bit reaching.
What was the one where Joker was gonna nuke Gotham
Harlequinade
I dress like this in real life
Pics or gtfo
almost got em
batman TAS was up there with ER when it comes to 90's TV kino that we will never see again
>But what about all our friends? Ivy and Two-Face, and Hat Guy, and Lizard Man, and Puppet-Head, and...
kek
It must be difficult getting a bomber and enough purple paint for it.
holy fuck nolan. bravo.
Heart of Ice/Deep Freeze, Perchance to Dream, Mad as a Hatter, and Almost Got 'Im.
Trial was really divisive in the DCAU fan community but I loved it. It's the ultimate break-out-the-beer Batman party episode.
A Bullet for Bullock for that awesome, awesome big band score. anbat.toonzone.net
Showdown for BASED Jonah Hex.
And of course, had many a fap to Talia in The Demon's Quest.
Clock King.
Nothing to Fear.
If I were to show someone who had never seen the show before, or doesn't know batman all that well, Nothing to Fear sums it all up rather well. Plus you get Bag-on-head Scarecrow. Heart of Ice is also very good.
It's some kind of meta-absurdist joke, she is a real blonde.
It would move me to tears if, I had tears to shed.
Mask of the Phantasm is canonically part of Batman:TAS though. It's just a theatrically released movie that's based off of the show and takes place in the continuity.
>Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on a summer's day with the hot wind in your face and a warm hand to hold. Oh yes, I'd kill for that!
Even though it's not TAS, Holiday Knights always make me laugh.
>To never again walk on a summer's gay with a hot load in your face
wtf?
kek
underrated
I ran into two dudes talking about him irl. Shit was surreal.
>When you remember The Gray Ghost was two Batmen talking to each other
>When you remember Adam West died recently
The one where all the baddies are sitting around playing poker reminiscing about the time they almost got Batman.
Quality post
really? it was "surreal?" hearing people talk about something you understand? that was "surreal" to you?
>no Joker's Favor
You all might as well has killed Captain Clown tonight.
So much of BTAS is kino.
Probably have to go with Mask of the Phantasm though. Just for the birth of Batman sequence.
The justice league unlimited episode with Terry and bruce was better. That's a hard thing to say too, but it was the perfect ending to tas/beyond legacy.
Jokers Favor: is literally the greatest Joker anything story.
>joker gets cut off in traffic, road rages on a literal nobody, and makes his life a living hell for years afterward.
en.wikipedia.org
Hes a petty, evil person in that.
I always loved Bruce's "no way fag" attitude. He's really just wants to be batman.
Quite honestly I found Baby Doll pretty difficult to take seriously.
>tfw you will never abandon a bunch of attractive women because you have to go beat up a clown.
I posted this quote already asshole.
Someone needs to chill.
Hearing two strangers irl talk about an edgy, not particularly well-known YouTuber? Yeah, it was surreal.
holy shit that fucking music.
It will stay with me until the day I die
youtube.com
Let me tell you something.
A fucking children's cartoon had no fucking business having an amazing, deep fucking orchestrated soundtrack.
That's what I loved about Batman The Animated Series.
They didn't pull their punches; they weren't going to settle with some shitty Cal-arts animation style and generic pop soundtrack.
And every one of the villains had their own theme
Two-face
youtube.com
The Joker
youtube.com
All around awesome, but I will always associate 2:40 with the joker. To me it's the most perfect piece of music that encapsulates everything the joker is; Dark and menacing, yet silly and as always completely fucking demented.
To answer OP's question any episode with the fucking joker.
Such an incredibly well done representation.
He was a psychopath; yet he cracked a joke every once in a while and he was always merry. As much as I loved Heath Ledger's joker he could've used a couple of more chuckles, but you had to be careful or you'd turn into the 60's joker.
The Animated Series joker walks the line between menacing and funny perfectly like no one else has been able to do since.
>almost got em
Was that the one with all the villains talking about that time they almost killed batman, all of the ridiculous setups each used to beat him?
Wasn't one of them [spoilers]actually batman[/spoilers] ? That episode was so awesome
"You said I could go home to my family!"
"I never said ALIVE."
Truly a chilling line in that.
"I threw a rock at him"
it was a big rock
yeah
Batman's reveal was the stuff of fucking legends
youtube.com
NOBODY saw it coming until he spoke out with Batman's voice.
It was all so fucking perfect.
>Mark Hamill's demented joker laugh
>the face of horror in the faces of all the other villains as joker describes his plans
>the surprise reveal
P.O.V. or Grey Ghost.
Barbara should only wear her cape, belt and mask
stop
>making her take off the boots
what a gay
When Penguin gets out of jail and goes straight and narrow, gets a waifu, defends her from ruffians, watches and sings Pagliacci with waifu, then finds out his waifu has been using him along with other "elites".
fuck you
>not particularly well-known YouTuber
Dude he got shouted out by PewDiePie. Everyone knows him now.
Superman was a great cartoon, but I doubt anyone actually believes it was better than the Batman cartoon, the first three seasons anyways.
YO LIL CLAYFACE!
so was he nuts or was scarface alive?
I hate the redesigns in The New Batman Adventures, especially of the joker, looks fucking terrible
that screcrow tho
It's a later episode but "Time out of Joint" kind of amazed me as a kid. he time dilation device is really cool, and they did a great job explaining it in a way that wasn't totally infantile.
the clock king obviously is a pretty lame villain, it would take something like that to make him dangerous and cool. TAS was amazing for that.
The one with Harvey Weinstein
streamable.com
streamable.com
streamable.com
How do you go from this
to this
also the one where batman KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN.
they made jussie smollet a batman villain?
Was pre-Pewdiepie shoutout though not by much.
He was nuts.
Blame Superman. They adopted the cheaper artstyle of it.
I thought the Clock King's debut episode was great. Showed how a "normal" (albeit anal retentive) person's life can be ruined over one bad piece of advice. His anger at the Mayor was misplaced but relatable.
fucking kek
see
Feat of Clay. This show made clayface absolutely kino
This one youtube.com
Mad Love
youtube.com
>gray ghost
Absolutely kino
For me it's the Cape and Cowl Conspiracy
Joker's Favor is up there for sure
...
>tfw you find 1080p remux rips of the show, but can't download even one season because not enough hard drive space
watched this one a lot as a kid. has an interesting atmosphere
Birds of a Feather
Same. Had nightmares he started taking over my family and teachers and stuff.
This was my introduction as a kid into how crafty Batman can be. Plus I like him going up against randos, gives it a pulp feel.
"Blind as a Bat"
checked and kek’d
Forgot how great Penguin's theme was.
youtube.com
I didn’t have a problem with this
Could Clayface actually piss on his hands?
Get em on the paddywagon. I'll call it in.
>he still watches cartoons
forgot pic
That won an Emmy, didn't it?
BtAS > JLU > StAS > BB > JL > TT
none of them are bad, btw
Are the Arkham games DCAU canon?
youtube.com
Over the Edge.
That was some fucked up episode for a kid's show.
Looney Toons and DCAU are some of the best things to come out of Western animation.
I prefer '40s
youtube.com
Night of the Ninja
Day of the Samurai
Tip top kino Batman.
Neither Batman nor Superman would ever endorse that idea.
Rob?
based and chillpilled
>7373
>11111
based and hotheadpilled
>have pic related as kid
>play catwoman sound over and over
>Catwoman goes "Mmmraow!" *CRACK-CRACK*
>makes my winky twitch
>Sorry, comrade, not this time.
Joker did nothing wrong. Charlie was a commie.
The clay face one where he doesn’t know who he is
Poison Ivy was always a dyke or is this new 52 bullshit?
Somebody get this cold shoulder outta here
they are all good, but yes, I agree with all this.
I miss JLU and BB, there's nothing even remotely similar on tv anymore.
I mentioned this one earlier glad to see someone else liked it to. He really fucking tried hell even batman realized it after awhile. Poor dude was just an ugly guy wanting to fit in with the group of people he thought he belonged with.
I liked the clock king eps and wish he was featured more in other media.
clayface 2
heart of ice
gray ghost
scarecrow poisoning the water / batman locked in arkham
dude swears on joker on the road, and joker makes him his plaything, oh Favor it was now i remember
Is any part of clayfaces body really anything other than clay?
Has harley batman and joker as themselves so yea. To me the animated joker is dead. He either
A. Dies via brainwashed robin
B. Dies from the venom
>breaks down and cries because civilian is threatining him with a dud bomb
who makes batman laugh, man i loved it
>I had this
>theres dust in my eyes I swear.
I don't remember the name of the episode, but it had kid robin finding a girl with no memory. The girl and him fall in love, but she was actually part of clayface? Does this ring a bell to anyone?
the one that creeped me out was the one where poison ivy made children from plants
ZUCCO
This one made me so sad. Still does.
Same! HARDAC's drone copies were creepy as well. Manbat's transformation was another scary moment. youtube.com
the one where it felt like an adult drama
guy has a suit that makes him invisible and it is implied that he was molesting his daughter
That episode fucked me up as a kid. It's cool how Freeze got a complete story.
every single batman villain is crazy and so is he. there may be paranormal happenings with some of them but for the most part they are just crazy if it comes down to the two options
This cartoon has amazing visuals and sounds but it's hard for me to get into the way batman is characterized, joker etc, the fact robin is around and he's this kid with this colourful costume
>Unpopular opinion scarface is actually real.
The series has an immortal, a manbat, a clayman, a plant controlling woman, and a crocodile infused guy that can lift big rocks.....its not out of the question that scarface is alive.
That was a special outlier, it was insanely expensive to do but it looked amazing
She always had a thing for Poison Ivy but no other girls, so i guess she was just Bi
Not sure if its my favorite; but I've got a soft spot for Joker's Favor particularly the "oh fuck" realization in the opening scene.
Dude, all the girls were sexy.
That team of animators just knew how to draw women. I would have fucked any of them
Almost Got Im
Mr. Freeze, Ra's Al Ghul, The Penguin, Killer Croc, Bane, Deadshot, and Deathstroke right off the top of my head aren't insane.
Get in, loser. We're going to make Gotham great again.
I don't know about favorite, but I quite liked the two episodes where harvey dent becomes two faces.
Is Ivy somehow "love" Batman or is just because she is a femme fatale?
Justice league
well in that ep she uses a mind control perfume on Bruce to force him to take her and Harley on a shopping spree for Christmas
i enjoyed this one
Excellent taste
Best Mr. Freeze design easi
;_;
I wish Two-Face got some proper resolution in the series, he deserved to be happy with his wife.
Unironically The Cat and the Claw
ivy is a degenerate faggot but harley is straight, it's what the ending scene from harley's holiday is about.
Birds of a feather.
>"yeah, I'm talkin' to you, clown"
>"that was the joker, I cussed out the joker"
so he just thought it was some other clown at first?
>season 4
What the fuck happened to that show?
It's implied in most versions she has a bit of a thing for Bats, but otherwise, she doesn't give a shit about most men outside of using them like a vamp. Doesn't tend to care about most women either, unless the current writer is going for a "GRRRRL POWWERR" thing.
Harley's the only person she seems to feel genuine, romantic affection for. She's also surprisingly kind to and protective of children.
Other than that, she's a huge misanthrope.
Probably was using the insult rather than identifying him as a clown.
>it's a Gordon tells Batman to rape joker episode
he could clearly see his white face though
is this the real guy or a parody of him?
Is not classic AS but in Beyond this episode is gold
the man who killed batman
Yea Forums meme
I'm sorry, but every episode with red claw was dogshit.
The movie.
Also the one with the girl made of clay.
was it rape?
What does your heart tell you?
What was the last good era here?
the fact that he is white the heart tells me that it was
Core Gen Y
Clayface
...
Clayface origin was pure kino
bump
Core Gen Y everything after is soulless.
So you don't like Malcolm in the middle or Samurai jack
Late Gen Y.
Or Bionicle, or Avatar or Teen Titans for that matter. Ignore the contrarian faggots, anyone who would call Samurai Jack "soulless" is a fucking retard.
>Welcome to the bottom of the thread!
>you will now be humming Captain Clown’s theme for the rest of the day.
