I actually had an idea for a Gundam series of movies a while back.
Essentially, 079 would be adapted into a trilogy (guess the One Year War would become the Three Year War) with elements of The Origin anime sprinkled in as flashbacks.
But in between the release of the second and third movies you would release a 8th MS Team movie (no other reason than it being my favourite side story from that specific time period).
After that, just go chronologically, Zeta, Char's Counter Attack, etc.
