Very, very rarely. The scaring usually came from people that couldn't stop fucking with their face. When you pop it you get localized swelling, maybe some spotting of blood. If you keep wrenching on that or picking formed scabs you dramatically increase the chance of scaring. The other way it happens is when people have INCREDIBLY SEVERE acne and their shit is fucked with no hands required, thats like pockmarks and shit. But yeah for normal people with normal acne for their age popping is highly unlikely to leave a mark.

I have ingrown toenails as well. They still don't know why people have them but for me, it could be a genetic reason. My grandma from my mom's side and my mom have ingrown toenails.

Google your local derm. Odds are they work 4 days a week or one day a week is like just half the day.

i believe it works that way for you in ca. it's cheaper for me to pay out of pocket and negotiate with my derm than to go through insurance because it's for catatrophic shit and has a high deductible.

There can be fat people with clear skin and skinny people with many cysts.

It could be how I'm cutting my toenails. But I looked at my father's and sister's toenails to figure out why they don't get ingrown toenails and it feels like their toenails are flat while mine seem naturally curvy which contributes to my ingrown toenails.

Even for derms, there is such a thing as general derm just like how there is a general surgeon as opposed to more specialized surgeons.

For derms that want to be more specialized there is dermatological surgeon and dermatological pathologist.

You know ideally an oral surgeon should remove your wisdom teeth as opposed to a regular dentist as another example of my point.

Oral surgeons have more experience with complex oral surgery which is why most dentists these days prefer referring patients to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth removal as opposed to doing it themselves.

I'm saying that some of Dr Pimple Popper's patients might have benefited more from a dermatological surgeon as opposed to a general dermatologist like Dr Pimple Popper in order to minimize scarring.

I don't have any of the tools that he is using but I usually leave the dead skin from my ingrown toenails alone because I always assumed it would hurt to pull them out.

The dead skin seem to always get washed away eventually if I left them alone.
