it was shit
ducournau is a hack
I haven't seen it btw

It's fantastic. Was mismarketed as horror though, it's a coming of age movie.

i perused it for all the gory parts. it wasn't that bad. why are normies such pussies?

Well I have seen it and I thought it was utter dog-fuking-shit.
Even if only for the fact that the girls are playing call of duty on the xbox without using the sticks.
And it shows little to no willingness to even be consequent with itself. And the message is purposefully blatant and incomprehensible at the same time.

It tries to be a coming of age story, a horror film, a thriller a slasher and a family drama. It fails at all of them.

I saw 16 year old (at time of filming) boobs in it

i liked it

I enjoyed it because the girl was cute, good film.

desu the finger eating part really made me squirm

The plot was a vehicle for the visuals.

It was sexy.

what do you feel about the fact that she's a rug muncher irl

sad but dont regret wankin it to her

yea it tried to be many things but its a great film to look at for me

I went in with high expectations and felt that it was mediocre at best. If I hadn't heard any hype beforehand it might've been more enjoyable

hahah i had the reverse of whatever shes on about. fuckin hell lads im sore as a titmouse now

hype is pretty much non existent for me except about it being discomforting

The ending make me cringe

why?

Bump. Stop posting in shitty Captain Marvel threads and come talk about a real movie

Perfectly encapsulated that autumn student life. An interesting twist on the hero's journey, where one usually chooses to go on it, she was without her knowledge forced to walk it. Not a horror film, a beautiful family drama. When Justine and Alexia violently embrace each other at the school yard, I think that was the pivotal moment of the film. Estranged sisters finally understanding each other and all preconceptions of each other dissolving while they amalgamate with one another. Her moral compass was already broken before she decided to eat that rabbit liver at the initiation, it was just the catalyst that spiraled everything into the event horizon, for her being a vegetarian wasn't a choice on her part. It was a tool set by her parents to try to subdue her cannibalistic tendencies that would eventually surface. That's partially why she's a tragic hero, someone who isn't in control of their own destiny and we're witness that ominous side of hers slowly destroy everything she knew of herself and had built for herself. A great film, 8.7/10.
