Based and alitapilled
So 3 soft reboots of 80s sci fi movies are the best 2010s can offer?
Haven't seen Alita but Arrival is the only one that competes with Mad Max or 2049
Not looking good for sci-fi
Beyond the Black Rainbow
Her
Annihilation
>Annihilation
Do you guys just judge films by visuals and nothing else?
>Mad Max
>Alita
I vote to replace those with Annihilation and Arrival
Alita is the only good one there
>Mad without Max
lmao no you cuck
and even then its only has a few scenes that are that good
ACTUAL TOP 3 SCIFI FILMS OF THE DECADE
>Hard to be a God
>Under the Skin
>BR2049
imagine being this brainwashed
>not Annihilation
>not Interstellar
These movies are bad.
Based
>Arrival
did we watch the same movie? are you joking? cant believe what im seeing rn
*cough*
>movie about aliens that focuses on language and the flow of consciousness over themes we've seen a million times
Arrival is pretty good user, it's a Villeneuve kino after all. The only thing I can knock it for is the somewhat heavyhanded sentimentality at the end.
seen under the skin, worth a watch but i dont think its top worthy
ive fallen asleep during br2049 twice but love the original, im just tired most times so dont take that as a real judgement
hard to be a god looks entertaining might have to watch that tonight yaknoooo
>hard to be a god looks entertaining
Not sure if joking but it's not.
ALITA IS TOP GARBAGE
You guys hate Annihilation and Arrival, love BR2049, but think Blade Runner is "boring". I do not get it.
>lets rate the first thing thats different top 3
i dont know what a "villeneuve kino" is but seems like some kinda appeal to authority to me which im going to disregard
the movie could have been good my memory is quite bad but i know it wasnt "top" youre all gunna hate me for saying this but i think maybe more shit should have happened lol, idk explosions and shit
from the trailer it looks weird enough to capture my attention
>Yea Forums is a hive mind
Annihilation was good, both BR's are good, Arrival was boring
It's a visual medium you casual
someone explain to me why everybody thinks of mad Max's sci-fi
I could understand if it's a contentious choice, but I found it to be pretty interesting
Yea Forums has simultanously both horrendeus and based and redpilled taste at the same time
it depends on the time of day
I thought 2049 was boring, and I'm not one who needs to be entertained. also, leto is tryhard, cringy to watch.
arrival was incredible, havent seen annihilation.
it's hard talking TOP 10 type lists that arent All Time because popularity is a factor. How would you even begin asking this question without having seen most of the sci fi released?
okay it was interesting but still lacked in other areas imo but i could and prolly am just chatting out my ass rn
what else would it be? i think apocalyptic themes are sci fi
i think all the movies mentioned so far are decent except im on the hate bandwagon for captain marvel, id rather see that other female protagonist film
dont kknow why it makes me laugh when someone thinks arrival was incredible but it do
I enjoy sentimental sci-fi a lot, if I want effects I'll watch my 80s body horror collection
Should actually be Skyline, Europa Report and Alien:Covenant.
Fury road was feminist garbage. No Mel no care
2049 was fucking boring.
Haven’t seen Alita
No Edge of Tomorrow/Live Die Repeat?
Low budget schlock
>Mad Max Fury Road = SCIFI
gunna try that beyond the black rainbow, didnt look into it more than scifi horror but that genre plus a recommendation is enough
