Gee, I wonder if they'll say it's PC Principle?

Based insult I will be stealing to insult others in future

Season 15 was the tipping point into nu south park

this

Should have ended with the episode where Stan is getting older and thinks everything’s shit.

When they placed all their bets on hillary winning and had to rush change their entire plan for the plot after she didnt.

I don't get it

S12

it died at least 10 years before that

Probably around the time they killed off Chef, the adventure club episode and the others were really setting a different pace for the show.

What grinds my gears is all the characters they have at their disposal, yet never get used.

You think if aborted fetus head lady was the main character of an episode now a days, how much shit they would catch?

I thought it was funny up through season 8. Then it drops of hard

Formerly Chuck’s Fuck and Tuck

Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina, that whole season was awful. After that there was never a consistently good season, some good individual episodes but it was mostly shit

I agee chef going was around where I checked out

S11 was the last good season, S12 was okay and then steep nosedive

Fred doesn't rhyme with Tack so this logic doesn't work work

yeah this. even tho the has had really funny moments after the writing just went down hill after this.

>he didn’t like Kyles dad wanting to be a dolphin

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_(season_20)

kek

The WoW episode was the last truly funny thing they ever made

Bleh = seasons 1-2
Golden Age = season 3-8
Declining but still consistently good = seasons 9-13
Noticeable decline = seasons 14-19
Complete collapse = seasons 20-present

Formerly Sneeds

It's still very funny. They had one bad season when they experimented with serialization. Last year's was good friend

when they started doing serialized seasons I bowed out.
honestly that shit was pretty cringey. And then he was just a permanent character. And they got bamboozled into the Garrison is Trump shit, which kind of always was eh, and now it's just been years of that.

Right after I turned 16

I stopped watching after season 19 but this is correct up to then and I'm assuming after too

>s1-2 bleh

Zoomer

Should have ended at the you are getting old episode but my personal end was the stick of truth

Favourite episode?
For me its either Make love not warcraft or Krazy Kripples.

when glen hid under the dumpster

what a shitty video that spends 16 minutes tap dancing around the topic.

>Bleh = seasons 1-2
>Golden Age = season 3-8

I mean, you did stick with South Park for 20 years so clearly your taste is shit, but jesus fucking christ

But season 1 and 2 are the best.
Season 20 was good too.

that season has cartman killing hippies and cartman thinking he's dead so it's good in my book

DO YOU LIKE MY COTTON PANTIES

This is exactly where I stopped watching.

The only good episodes in 9 are Marjorine and Trapped in the Closet, compare this to season 8 where every episode was gold.

canonical ending right here

Attached: image.jpg (392x200, 36K)

it had been kind of shaky for the couple seasons before it but the episode 201 controversy killed the show for good imo

I agree

I hope Trey's new divorce makes him so angry that he makes a ton of angry focused South Park episodes.

Probably this. I stopped liking it as much around 11, but 15 was definitely the end.
You're Getting Old is basically a finale for the kino era

desu they probably did the same thing with Obama.

I couldn’t imagine their panic. Surely they had contingincies.

They have a wikipage for controversies
>While some in the Jewish community have praised the show's depiction of the character Eric Cartman holding an anti-Semitic attitude towards fellow student Kyle Broflovski as a means of accurately portraying what it is like for a young Jew to have to endure bigotry as an ethnic minority,

HAHA WHAT, NOT ONCE GROWING UP DID I SEE SOMEONE SHAME A JEW, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW JEWS WEREN'T WHITE UNTIL I WAS AN ADULT.

These fucks try to get pity out of everything.

Can't understand how people watched this show beyond season 3. First two are great, third is good, four and on are horrible cookie-cutter family tier trash

>t. Trey

Seasons 1-3 were actually pretty comfy and there wasn't an insane amount of vulgarity.
4-10 was the peak era of the show IMO

>HAHA WHAT, NOT ONCE GROWING UP DID I SEE SOMEONE SHAME A JEW,
you're either lying or you probably grew up in a pretty sheltered environment. Kids calling each other jews was up there with "fag" in m'90s childhood.

make the golden age s1-s8 and you're onto something

Do you people actually enjoy the growing up episode? Like it was basically saying they were tired of the show but the episode itself was shit. It wasn't funny or emotionally engaging. And season1-8 were great, 9-14 were a slow downward trend and 15+ were pure garbage.

the last gasp of the show being any good at all was the stick of truth

I enjoyed the Landslide montage, the Randy stuff was as mediocre as ever though

This

Vet ikke jeg

Season 17.

>16 minute long video
youtube fags really know how to milk out money

That's not shaming a Jew at all retard.

Imaginationland is when it died for me

Obama wasn't that big of a surprise. Republicans had just created a bunch of wars AND tanked the economy AND Sarah Palin ended up being a huge backfire because she's fucking retarded.

It was a pretty safe bet for the last month or so of that campaign.

2002 or something

I'm just now realizing how hardcore of an ending it would've been

I enjoyed some episodes afterwards, but can't say I disagree

I think The Royal Pudding, and Something Blockbuster This Way Comes were the last episodes I legitimately enjoyed.

When they killed off Chuck

For me it was the weed farm episode. I found myself not enjoying it and I haven’t watched since.
-t. stoner

>Something Blockbuster This Way Comes
I think you're mixing up 2 different episodes there user

>8-minute history summary from Wikipedia
>2-minute ad for future content

Its the Blockbuster one. Forgot the name.

A Nightmare on Facetime

That’s the lord of the rings episode where they accidentally take the porn tape from Randy. Back Sluts 9

That's it. They parody The Shining.

yeah it is. We used to double do it at the actual Jews. Even in the cartman voice

Not the one I was referring to, but thats a good one as well.

god that ep was painfully unfunny

season 11 episode 5

The whole PC arc should have been about Cartman becomin a marvel fan (nu male) and at the end of the season he realizes he has been jewed. Then procceds to kill disney, starbucks and burn the oscar awards ceremony place

Yep thought that was going to be it. But like everything they will get blood from a stone

When they made fun of trump

It was easily one of the best of the last 10 years

Season 10 was the last peak, since then it had been dying

nah

eat shit fuckers

Nobody asked you

When they started to do one continuous story over several episodes/an entire season.

IMO season 10 was the first season with more meh episodes than good ones

>1-2
>bleh
>anything past 10
>consistently good

I'm getting meme'd aren't I?

So South Park died because one season sucked?

Fuck that noise. South Park isn't dead, but they took a huge gamble on the trump stuff and lost HARD. It's by far the worst season and I can hardly rewatch it, but even then the last season was far better and it's still better than 90% of the rest of adult animation. I'd gladly take South Park over Bojack and R&M in the current year.

>I'd gladly take South Park over Bojack and R&M in the current year.
Well yeah but that's like saying you'd rather eat stale bread than shit or diarrhea. The comparison is m00t.

>tfw those episodes were the reasons we got ready player one
No wonder it turned into literal meme afterwards.
