If Dean's coffin thing can hold anything, why didn't God use one for Luxcifer. why go through all the effort of creating a cage that can only be accessed by combining the rings of the Four Horsemen / whatever clearly bullshit spell Rowena used?

I can admit it has flaws, and half of the ensemble weren't interesting enough or were annoying but there was room to grow and the potential with Alt-Kaia allows them to bring in new monsters and new lore while the main series stuck with angels and demons. That way they deal with separate issues and we don't go asking why didn't they help each other just like people asked that about individual MCU movies after the Avengers team up.

Give both teams different threats to deal with but let them crossover occasionally. Let side characters like Rowena or Ketch continue and expand their story in the spinoff and keep expanding the lore and the universe. It was such a missed potential. Especially since the Bad Place finally gave us monsters with decent prosthetics and AN ACTUAL FUCKING GIANT.

American Gods picked up just when I thought it was getting boring, and the deviation from the book was pretty interesting actually especially when the new gods stormed the precinct holding Odin and shadow. I wish Supernatural would show strong deities again

Older seasons were a bit interesting, but even that they had problems. when running gag for every second episode is pic related, it still gets grading.
But main problem of the first several seasons were overacting.

First 5 seasons are really good. After that it depends how much you liked it. For me, a lot of it after S5 was enjoyable, with some unwatchable episodes sprinkled in there, and some really overall bad seasons like 9. And characters you wish would die from the moment they're introduced.

best episodes from mid season 2 to end of season 5, then it goes down hill but still watchable, theres 1 episode in season 9 i think that is completely unrelated and should be skipped entirely (i've never actually seen all of it in my 6 rewatches)

MOTW is so based, thats what got me hooked on the show, hybrid stuff where they kill the monster at the start and go a different way is great too.

what i mean by down hill is the story goes in a weird direction and all this weird shit happens and it picks back up after season 8 i think but its still great, highly recommend you watch it past season 5.

6 is good in its own merit, it's a victim of placement. I guarantee you any new arc that comes after Swan Song is destined to be eclipsed. They had to start a new arc somehow and season 6 did a decent job laying out monster lore and backstory
