Will it unironically go down as the greatest TV show of all time?
Will it unironically go down as the greatest TV show of all time?
No,it will never come close to sopranos, the wire, twin peaks the return, the leftovers and Mad men.
For normalfags, most certainly.
In terms of spectacle/budget/fandom? Most definitely. Never in terms of writing.
Definitely
It already is by far the best show that ever aired
No matter what sad and lonely incels tell you, GOT is number 1
low quality bait
Maario Naharis
I've never watched it, is if better than Breaking bad?
No. It's pretty much universally accepted that the quality went downhill in the recent seasons. I'm not talking about my subjective opinion here, I'm talking about audience scores, ratings, professional reivews - and even opinions of youtubers. Breaking Bad, for example, consistently kept getting higher and higher ratings and reviews everywhere up until the finale - no matter how good season 8 of GoT is, it will be remembered as a show that did not manage to keep it's quality high
based
I like both
it already is,even if 4chin deny it
last season was their most watched.Stay in your basement
Apples and oranges.
S1: 9/10
S2: 8/10
S3: 8/10
S4: 7.5/10
S5: 5.5/10
S6: 5/10
S7: 4/10
Every single season has been consecutively weaker than the last, to the point where normies finally realized it. It's going to be remembered in the same way as Twilight, where it's a big fucking deal for a long period of time but then falls away out of cultural memory when it's over.
GoT isn't going to be a Star Wars, Harry Potter, Tolkien thing where people talk about it to that extent long after the work is complete
pleb shows
Yeah that's gonna be a based from me
Breaking bad is a pile of shit.No one remembers it it never reached GoT hype
No, but if they pull Mad Dany well it'd end up alright
S7 is at least 7/10
the show just changed and evolved, it's more action and entertainment and less politic
I know that Tywin dying, CIA becoming irrelevant etc. make people upset but the show changed, it's different, not worse
Really depends on how it ends, they've had a lot of time to get this right
>shamuska no!
I liked S7 more than S5 and maybe even S6. S5 still had really stupid shit in it like Jaime going undercover in funny costumes. Dany's storyline is also x100000 better in Westeros than pointless Essos crap. Also they really toned down the feminist BS.
They've had a lot of time to set up battles and fight scenes, not to write it well and giving it a fitting, worthy conclusion.
>keep it's quality high
>keep it is quality high
you gotta go back sir
Higher, Further, Faster
>Boardwalk Empire was a bigger draw for HBO at some point
whoa
That wasn't him he a faceless man lol
>get into the show because of the politics
>Now it's just MCU with dragons
>the viewership went up, so the quality must have gone up too
Depending on the finale I feel like it'll achieve GOAT status or it'll be like LOST where like half the people jump ship and hate it for wasting their times.
based and adventure pilled
better writing but you can't really compare the two because breaking bad has to somewhat hold to the parameters of reality
