Never, hopefully.

Based.

>Mexican Anathema
>black Pepper
>Chinese female Pollution
Fuck you, Monkey's Paw.

Discworld would suck as a TV show. Read the books or just watch existing TV shows. If you need a TV show to validate your "enjoyment" of a book you're a sack of shit who doesn't deserve to enjoy anything.

>Terry Pratchett is so hilarious!

This. Plus, it's unfilmable; the novels' charm comes from the descriptions and narration more than from the storylines and characters themselves

In today's day and age? Fuck off. Learn to read.

Wyrd sisters was good, going postal was good, soul music alright, the hogfather alright, everything else a bit meh

should be the boomer wojak instead

Aww, bawby wooking forward to the next Game of Twones novel? It's almost here I'm sure

They were trying to do a Watch thing, butt i dont think it took off

Oh, and I'm not sold on Michael McKean as Shadwell, either. I love the guy, but he just doesn't scream "hardened" and "grizzled" enough to be Shadwell. Clive Russell played him in the radio drama, and he was pretty much spot on in looks for Shadwell aside from voice. Should have used him again. Really, the entire radio cast was perfect.

Well, yeah, it's just that he's responsible for ALL fantasy parody/humor you see get crapped out today and people are tired of it because it's hack bullshit for the most part.

See? Much better Shadwell. With him are Madam Tracy, Anathema, and Newt. Compare that to the Amazon casting. Bullocks.

in development hell for years yeah, but confirmed late last year an 8 part series been ordered by bbc america, it's happening.

And here's your fucking Horsemen. Famine, Death, War, and Pollution. They look more like the Horsemen in fucking street clothes than the show's castings.

It's been in development hell for a lustrum or more. EVery year somebody announces that it's FINALLY going ot happen, but it doesn't happen.

And here's Crowley and Aziraphale. They look (and sound) a lot better than Sheen and Tennant, who are overacting and hamming it up in the bits we've seen so far. Seriously, it's like Sheen is playing a parody of Aziraphale.

Finally, the Them are just fucking adorable. Seriously, if you haven't, listen to the BBC's radio drama. This Amazon Prime show is going to be a disappointing disaster to a lot of longtime fans. You know it and I know it.

You are correct, although the animated ones were pretty good. I didn't mind the live action ones, I mean they weren't unwatchable.

That Crowley really doesn't fit look good at all. I always imagined him as some kind of Christian Grey. I'd certainly have casted someone younger and thinner.

Hear him speak. You'll understand how he fits Crowley. Same with Aziraphale. You'll get what I mean when I talk about Sheen and Tennant overacting.

Oh shit I didn't even know Peter played Crowley.

>Wensleydale actual piondexter
>Brian messy and wrinkled shirt
For a radio play, the casting is perfect.

laughed, good on ya
Terry mighta laughed himself
