Tbh I don't remember a great deal about the film but I absolutely adore the opening.

It's not capeshit. It's a film.
It's not a film, it's a motion picture.
10 years later and niteowl is still doing cape kino
cool it with the christian imagery
I'm a fedora wearing heathen but I love a bit of Christian imagery.
what an ugly punchable face cunt
Holds up pretty well.
The sex scene with the owl faggot sucked.
Nah, what the morons from Yea Forums cry about is "muh action", the last thread was pretty good.
The extended cut with the black freighter is absolute must watch kino. I still put it on now and then for background noise while I'm doing things around the house.
Fuck this movie, Snyder is a hack who don't even understand Superman or Batman, let alone this Alan Moore masterpiece.
Kino opening
He fucking nailed this one though. It was kino.
fag
i´ve never undestood the whole studio 54 scene, what did they meant by this?
Has no literary value except as a deconstruction of superhero archetypes. If you grew up reading comic books instead of novels it seems clever, but there's not really anything else there.
Goddamn this is such a good montage.
kino
Theatrical Cut is quality film. Director's Cut is Kino.
Based
Adrian is gay
faggots used to go there?
was talking about this movie just yesterday. i wouldn't go so far to call it kino, but a really quality movie. the script change they made from the comic is an improvement .
Could you consider this a story without a villain? It's a very interesting post-superhero world where law and order won, superheroes became obsolete especially with the presence of Manhattan, and the only one still active and fighting crime is Rorschach.
All the characters are doing what can be justified as the right thing, even "bad" people like the Comedian is shown to simply have a disregard for life, Ozymandias is obviously considered the antagonist but he wants world peace more than anyone. Manhattan is neutral to the point even he doesn't know what he wants.
I don't know if specifically gays but it was pretty heavy with gays
Real shame Lindelof is gonna take a massive shit on it with his show.
