Does Nick Fury lose his eye?

well obviously, that's why he wears a patch

I mean does he lose it in Captain Marvel or is the mystery still up in the air?

The cat scrathes it and it gets infected.

Come on, be serious

Well they've retconned the First Avenger for this shitty movie so What do you think? How far would these faggots go to try and legitimize this Shit Fart character?

I am. That's what happens. I mean, haven't you read the spoilers the last two days or so? Captain Fungus retconned a lot of shit. Fury got the Avengers name from her Airforce Callsign even. What, did you think he'd lose it in some cool way in some espionage flick or something? It breaks continuity (in TWS we see bearded Jackson with both eyes), but hey, it's time to GET WOKE!

kys mouseshill

It's true. Also avengers get name after Carol's pilot callname.

Mega giga cringe

He lost it saving Alexander Pierce when he was a field agent, we're told this in Winter Soldier

No, he said "last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye" and they've retconned it to mean Nick fucking Fury trusted some alien cat.

Well winter soldier had a white MAN as MC so back of the line with you! captain marvel good thing toxic masculinity trump 2020 Clinton win Sanders socialism never really tried black lives matter

It was because of TWS that I thought the hints of him losing an eye would be a red herring throughout the film (Would have been pretty hilarious if they kept hinting it ala "Careful, you could poke someone's eye out with that".

Thanks for being open though, I'm seeing the film this weekend to see if what's been said truly holds water. In the meantime, is the film any good at all?

I hope you’re paying for tickets to see a different movie and then sneaking into the showing.

It's the cat, not a joke.

No, not it's not. She falls so flat and uncanny valley Coulson upsets me on a personal level

NO, not Coulson! What's wrong with Coulson?

if he pulled it off, would he die?

They spent all the de-aging CGI money on Fury, so Coulson looks eerie

Is that legal?

>they've retconned the First Avenger
What parts did the retcon?

So why didn't he page her when Loki showed up and started spouting ant/boot metaphors?

They de-aged Coulson? I swear all they had to do was give him hair and be done with it

>hurr why doesn't all heroes show up in every movie all da time
You have shit tier autism.

Is the high schooler who rips your ticket stub gonna follow you to make sure you go to the correct theater? If you absolutely have to see this movie, buy a ticket for a different one at around the same time and then just go into Captain Marvel.

If he genuinely thought the world was going to end, why didn't he call her, seems like a rational thing to do.

Imagine how much time and destruction could have been avoided if she'd just blown up Loki from orbit before he opened the gate for the Chitauri. Even if they go through she could have stopped that nuke from being fired without all the Iron Man drama

>I swear all they had to do was give him hair and be done with it
Kevin why are we shooting my scenes first?

What are you implying? Am I missing something?

Oh your mother drank that much huh, that must be really hard.

>is the film any good at all?
It really wasn't. The main message it tried to send went along the lines of
>we're not weak because we're human, we're strong because we go on despite being human. The only way to lose is by giving up
which is a cool message and all but it falls flat when the character in the movie doesn't really fail a single time, or even face any kind of struggle really. It all happened in the flashbacks, only as a way to highlight how brave our hero is. She didn't have to make a single hard decision either, or grow as a person at all. Her character arc was pretty much
>hero has amnesia
>she tries to figure out her past
>she figures out her past
>turns out she was flawless and keeps being flawless
They try to make "but she cares TOO much and can't just follow orders!" half-assedly into a flaw which is just ridiculous. Such a fucking boring premise this movie had. I understand most superhero films only ever lightly touch difficult questions (save for Nolan's two first batman films which were peak capeshit), but it's often compensated for with the movie not taking itself very seriously. But this one does, extremely seriously. It tries to have some light-hearted comedy here and there but it all falls flat because the main character has literally zero screen presence or acting ability for that matter. Pay attention during the scene where she crashes a plane, that whole segment she's like a fucking freshman in art school just getting into acting.

The feminist agenda is obviously there but I don't really mind it as long as it's "girl power, we can do it too!" as opposed to "we're better than men, fuck men!", and there was only like one or two scenes of the latter really, mostly it focused on the former. It would be dishonest of me to be offended by a movie celebrating girlpower while liking a movie like Predator that is a love-letter to traditional masculinity. Sadly the whole agenda was the least of this movies problems

>Captain America: The FIRST AVENGER
>hurr, no we got it from Danvers in the 90s

Senpai, Captain America became the first Avenger in the 1940s

She knows exactly what shes doing

of course she does

>like Predator that is a love-letter to traditional masculinity.

Traditional masculinity doesn't really shit on women. It's exactly like you say, the issue isn't "girl power" because that's not what it's saying. It's just saying fuck men. These people don't understand that's not building something. It's still "girl power" directly defined by masculinity.

Don't listen to this fag, he gets a fungal infection in his eye after Fury sucks on Danvers toes during the interracial sex scene. Then throughout the movie it gets worse and he ends up losing it.

it would be incredibly blue-pilled

>the First Avenger
>HURR DURR turns out the Avengers Initiative was inspired by Danvers this whole time
>she's the REAL first Avenger, incel

>It's just saying fuck men
I disagree, the movie kept that to the minimum (to my surprise). Really the only scenes I can think of were the one where the biker does the ridiculous catcalling, and the one where Carol tells Jude Law that she doesn't need to prove herself to anyone after he does his retarded speech. Honestly I took far more offense in the fact that the nigger lady was a single mother and supposedly raised this perfect daughter and the whole atmosphere around them was championed. Single parenting should never be romanticized in any way

>Single parenting should never be romanticized in any way

Strong Independent Woman, get fucked Satan

He loses his eye then gets his other old lost eye replaced, and switches his new eye from socket to socket before every time he sees Captain America just to see if Cap will notice.

Cap doesn't notice until like the 5th time.

ESL or just retarded?
