Yea Forums always approved of the way Diana's character was handled in such a manner that is opposite to how Carol Danvers is being handled. Diana was actually extremely likeable and even cute, Gal did a great job with this and it definitely made up for the mediocre action.

I think there is something wrong with you. I do not understand how any thinking person could possibly like this cinematic equivalent of fast food and pretend to have any standards.

It makes me think back to the Star Wars Prequels and think there's something meritorious about them that I missed, because they are at least toy commercials that represent one man's in many ways very ambitious vision, while capeshit today is a commercial for itself to get people into theaters and mildly-entertained and a way to socially interact, and then they forget about it in a week.

I come here because I like watching the reaction when Yea Forums properly estimates capeshit, but when I see people who actually like it, I really think you should get the fuck out, because you are making this place worse with your awful taste.

No part of these movies are good. I suppose you could watch them to imagine how something good could be made of it, but every part about them is mediocre or abysmal that there is little worth salvaging. The superhero origin story or the team-up story has been done to death. What the fuck are you people finding in this shit?

The thing is that Wonder woman has been a "feminist" icon for 50 years, WB didn't need to convince women to go see the movie or that it was woke to watch it. Captain Marvel was disney trying to convince people that giving a huge capitalistic corporation your money was empowering and a sign of supported social changes. It was just Black Panther all over again. Wonder woman is a shitty flick that had a feminist inner core thanks to his creator, and wonder woman was a feminist icon in the mind of every woman thet grew up in the 70's, why would they spend money or even filmtime trying to sell you on the idea of empowerment?. Captain Marvel is a character that has existed for 5 years, every series has flopped, nobody really likes and that was designed by a comitee. That's the problem, ignoring what retarded incels believe or think, Wonder woman is just a competent shitty flick, while Captain Marvel is a shitty flick that a corporation is trying to pass as an act of civil unrest.

I was actually impressed at how well Wonder Woman didn’t shove a feminist agenda down our throats; especially with a female director. But it ended up being a decent movie with a likable lead. The movie even went out of its way to highlight how important MEN were with Steve Trevor and the rest of his team.

I also didn't like SS, BvS which I watched drunk, then sober because I thought maybe I'd missed something, or JL. Man of Steel was pretty good. Haven't seen aquaman.
Both Captain America's are good, Dr Strange was mediocre, the ending saved it a lot, and every other Marvel film is either utter trash or designed solely for children

The ending was lame as hell, they're didn't need to be some stupid fucking god for her to fight in the end, and it really cheapens the war since it turns out some guy is just brainwashing people. She is a had actress. She looks the part. But she is not good at all. Action scenes she can do. She smiles well. She was in a comedy surrounded with naturally funny people and she still managed to wreck the every scene she was in and speaking.
Chris Pine carried the movie. Seriously. He is the reason for its success. The story isn't great. It is extremely predictable. The last third of the movie when it was supposed to peak I was actually bored. Pine was its only saving grace. I will see the second one just for his character and acting. Personally I think DC was doing Steve Rogers/cap America and Pine nailed it far better than the actual marvel movie version. The action scenes all were good, but uninspired I guess. They wouldn't hold up well to something like Brad pit in Achilles.
Overall it was a good casting job on looks. Bad on acting ability. Great job casting Pine. Really they should have just cast him as a superhero. If they somehow grow him into a superhero via flashpoint or something it will he a home run. Personally I would make him green Lantern and use flashpoint to let him pick up where wrenolds left off because that sinestro looked awesome and he is a great actor.
