Make mine a Marv-
Breh look at this dude
>Yea Forums likes Wonder Woman now because it's not Marvel
Imagine if there was a crossover where they just slapped their butts against each other throughout the whole movie.
It's because it's a female lead superhero film that didn't market itself as something different from the rest. They didn't try to pretend it was something special, and they especially didn't alienate their target demographic.
>Yea Forums
No the spic twitter trannys who were behind the shilling of it still like it
APOLOGIZE
I don't like Wonder Woman but if I had to choose...
What's Yea Forums's consensus on long legs?
>They didn't try to pretend it was something special
the media did
but being the first wonder woman movie is in fact special because wonder woman is an iconic character and people have wanted a film for decades
no one wanted a captian marvel movie until disney told them they should
Its 83 not 63.
You're right. The average person has at least heard of Wonder Woman, even in passing. 9 out of 10 people hadn't heard of Captain Marvel before it was announced.
who else /payingfortheirwivesboyfriend/
With 146 reviews, the average for Captain Marvel is currently 6.94. Bad movie.
looks like DCucks are still insecure
I actually do like Wonder Woman. Bullshit third act aside, I thought it was a pretty cozy movie.
I even have a Special Edition Bluray. Fight me.
>top critics
Try again, shill.
>Wonder Woman's audience score is 9% higher than Black Panther and with 50% more votes
huh
This would be a fresh review for Captain Marvel
I lost all hope for Marvel after the scene where Carol kills Trump
It was weird that she caught Pence giving him head.
Brie look at this dude
The problem with only acknowledging top critics though is that you miss out on some of the best reviews.
Now this is some revisionist shit.
stunning and brave
No it isn't.
You can argue about how it was marketed, (some claimed WB did a shitty job marketing it which is why it only opened to 100 million) but Gal wasn't alienating a large amount of the paying audience.
There's a reason WW never had a horrible 'want to see' score and has an audience reaction score near 90%.
this actually happens
>generic "white men are evil and women are based af" movie vs generic "white men are evil and women are based af" movie
I liked the romance part
the want to see score when the embargo was lifted was twice of Captain Marvel, and that is after Captain Marvel fags went to vote to counterattack the "review bombing"
except in Wonder Woman, the most based person is a white man who sacrifices everything to save the day.
no she didn't. they literally just say that for every person ever that stars in any type of movie that can be related to something in the past to trick losers or sell more merch
and WW came out a year after Ghostbusters, so there was plenty of opportunity for these people to down vote it and they simply didn't.
>humans are good; no, humans are evil; no, humans can both hate and love
>vs. the patriarchy is keeping you down
The film was cool until it became the typical DC shit in act 3
what did Disney mean by this
she actually did mention an specific Wonder Woman story from 2003 (she was 13 or 14 at the time by my calculations)
>"I grew up reading Wonder Woman comics," Larson said to Cinema Blend in a recent interview. "There was a series where she was fighting in Mount Olympus and then would get that work done in time to go back to Earth and do a book signing."
Bad photoshop
Because Gal is cute
Yeah, I thought Wonder Woman was great, and a lot of fun.
I've got absolutely no interest in Captain Marvel
One of the WW villains was a woman. And Steve was based as fuck. He even managed to fuck Wonder Woman.
Casuals know who Wonder Woman is, even if they only think of her as "female Superman". No one knows who the fuck Captain Marvel is. Disney should've just waited for the Sony buyout to finalize and then made a Storm movie. Storm is at least recognizable.
Based. Gal is /ourgal/.
Patrician tier. Combined with her godlike sensuality, it’s unparalleled. Brie couldn’t even hope to compete with this.
Closer to 99/100 haven’t heard of Captain Marvel. It literally sounds rega
>You'll never get molested at a young age by Gal Godot.
Why Even Live?
I LOVE them
the movie was actually decent unlike other marvel flicks which are just pure cringe
Oh shit a 63%. That means we have to love it. Fuck.
Always bet on the brunette
Lifelong self-esteem unlocked
Gal Gadot is fucking hot
At least they could pick excerpts that match the rating.
WW was helped by two other things, we'd already seen her in BvS so people knew her power levels to an extent and had a feel for the character going in, Captain Marvel we're expected to just accept that she's the bestest at everything from the start.
The other advantage WW had was her story is simple and always has been. Steve shows up on her Island, they run away together, they fight the bad gods who're playing war with humanity and then continue adventuring together afterwards.
Captain Marvels backstory is such a mess that I can't even condense it if I wanted to.
>someone actually screencapped my joke post
lmao
no.
BAD
No. Wonder Woman was embrassing. Captain Marvel will just be generic marvel shit.
CM's top critics is down to 60% now. Marvel hasn't had a rotten top Critics score since Thor 2. This movie must be complete garbage
and thor wasn't shielded by feminism and incel/thot wars
True, the core origin has always been the same, although they have changed how she was born and got her powers sometimes (not just the recent Zeus origin)
the review is complaining that wonder woman looks good and feminine
Capeshit is capeshit so its bound to be a fun schlock at best. Only real complaint I have was Danny Huston get cucked out of the villain role so Diana didn't look like a retard who was fighting a war she knew nothing about.
