Aegon is in S8. He at first appears as a bodyguard for Harry Strickland, whose character is merged with Jon Connington.

When he arrives in Westeros, after Harry meets with Cersei, the GC seizes KL.

Aegon is the guy on the boat in the trailer, and the invasion of KL is the scene where Cersei is in a gold dress crying on her throne. It's meant to echo her scene with Tommen during the Blackwater.

Sansa, Daenerys, Brienne, Tormund, Beric, Aegon all die to WW. Arya disappears. Aegon also goes north to fight the WW threat with a massive army, fighting side by side with Daenerys and Jon. Beric dies resurrecting Jaime, who defeats the Night King.

Jon is technically the heir apparent after the end but refuses the throne. Great Council is called to find a new king. Gendry is put on the throne after being legitimised by Jon. A parliament-like system is put in place in Westeros.

Not really, there are little hints in S1 and S2 that he's putting on a show. For example, in S1 Jory comes with a message from Ned for Robert and Jaime is guarding the door. They bond a little bit talking about the Greyjoy Rebellion and Jory asks if he can leave the note with Jaime. Out of nowhere Jaime immediately chimps and says he doesn't serve Ned. We see him struggling against Ned, who is supposed to be pretty good with a sword but nothing extraordinary. It might just be that people actually do overpraise a famous name. Interestingly enough, while Barristan Selmy seems to respect Jaime as a swordsman, he clearly doesn't consider him his equal and doesn't even praise him, while he actually praised Ned.
