Most of it takes place on Earth and focuses on the awful romance between Thor and Portman. They chose to do this instead of trying to make the movie anywhere as awesome as the Kirby comics were.

The script was a dud. Too much attention was given to the multicolored "nordic" side-characters. For a film about a god, the conflict scale was tiny.

I wish they gave all the attention to Thor and his character arc, rather than flattening him as they did.

Also, Loki is a shoddy villain.

Thor is still my favorite MCU flick. I just love that sort of BIG, OPULENT and ORNATE style. It's why I adored Aquaman soo much and feel like that's the best Thor movie we never got!!!FACT!!!

The writing and acting was pretty bad, especially when it came to the romance
You can tell Hemsworth and Portman weren't really into the romance scenes
Also that chick with the glasses was an annoying shit
