horrorkino has ARRIVED
Midsommar (2019)
BASED A24
is Ari Aster this generation's Hitchcock? two movies, two instant classics
Trailer looks scary, hopefully it isn't hereditary with a 2 hour build up to a good ending. Should be scary as fuck through the whole thing
what didn't you like about Hereditary? can you really call it slow-paced when the clucking demonspawn gets her face shredded like 30 minutes into the movie?
>MAN WHITE PEOPLE ARE EVIL AND CRAZY AND SHIT AND SHOULD BE EXTERMINATED NO BLACK PERSON IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND HAS EVER DONE ANY WRONG
it's about a pagan cult in the middle of nowhere, Sweden. tf is wrong with you?
White people are fucked up, though.
Yeah, that's a gut punch, some more creepy shit happens, my favourite bit is the most hated. The ending. I've watched it twice, no disrespect to the film but I doubt I'll watch it again. No rewatchability
can't wait, Hereditary was my favorite movie of 2018 hands down
I really enjoyed the entire movie. apparently in the original ending, the kid goes completely insane and gouges his own eyes out and lets the demon take over him
If it comes to horrors, I'd prefer autopsy of Jane doe. You seen that?
GODFUCKINGDAMMIT
I have not. not sure it's up my alley. should I check it out? also been meaning to watch The Ritual
he's a pretty good actor user
Well if you like horror you should. Never seen the ritual
Interesting trailer. Never seen so much sunlight in a horror movie
gotcha. I'll check it out. I like slower-paced dread more than jump scares or gorefests. hopefully Jane Doe is the latter
Jane Doe is definitely a slow-paced dread, you'll like it. Especially if you liked the ritual, which went to shit once you saw the monster
Jane doe is something from the 90's. Old-school horror and very good
DUDE WHITE PEOPLE
Hey, this looks good. I was told Hereditary was shit, gonna download it now and decide for myself.
I love stuff like The Witch and don't really care about shit like It or Pet Cemetary.
>Airie Ass-shit
>DUDE CULTS LMAO
if you like the witch you'll like hereditary, it's a slow burn but not boring.
>director of hereditary
pass
>Evil cult based in Europe
>all white people
So I guess diversity and showing how diverse Europe is doesn't matter here? really makes me think.
>written and directed by Ari Aster
>Aster was born in New York City. His father was a musician and his mother was a poet and he has a younger brother.[2] His family is Jewish.[3]
I hope the whole movie will have those white bars
>The two forced diversity cast (black man and indian woman) are victims
lel of course
Looks interesting, is there much daytime horror out there?
