To make captain marvel score higher % score. Very scummy of them.
Rotten Tomatoes is manipulating reviews

Tinfoil harder, dumbass.
Sometimes it's dubious but a 2/4 would never be fresh, needs to be at least 2.5/4
Lol pussy
go dilate, chapo tranny
If you cut a tomato in half you still have half a good tomato
but then it rottens more quickly
Yes, the website owned by WARNER BROS and NBCUNIVERSAL is manipulating reviews for DISNEY movies...
>food comparison
god damn i hate americans
IT'S A BAD MOVIE
Yes, that’s exactly what’s happening
>50% is a passing grade
What is this, nigger school?
you've seen it?
You know that's a good point. If a tomato is 3/5ths rotten, that means 2/5ths of it is fresh, so if you just cut out the 2/5ths that's good you have a perfectly good whole 2/5ths of a tomato. Now that's a fresh tomato!
THE CRITICS DECIDE WHETHER TO MAKE IT FRESH OR NOT, IT'S NOT TIED TO THE NUMERICAL SCORE PLEASE LEARN HOW THE FUCKING SITE WORKS
THIS IS LIKE HOW LAST WEEK YOU GUYS WERE SAYING THE ONLY MOVIES BEING SHOWN FOR A WEEK WAS CM BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MOVIE SCHEDULES WORK.
That's up to the reviewer....
No. A website owned by Warner Bros and NBCuniversal is manipulating reviews for money
Then why are they not doing it for their movies? You know...for money
>REEEEE FOOD ANALOGY
>REEEEE AMERICANS
Rent Free
>you can trust the review of someone who is willing to not only use an _/4 rating system, but who is even willing to call a 2/4 fresh
There are already more movies slated in my area for next Thursday, than there were this time last week for this Thursday. Disney is pushing to try and make it look like Captain Marvel is huge. Cinemas had to wait until today (when the embargo was over) to know how many theaters they would need for Captain Marvel. Now that they know, it's not going to be that strong, theaters are already starting to book next week.
>didn't even watch the film
>I-IT'S BAD!
And I bet you spout the NPC meme without realizing you are the prime example.
I love how salty you fags get over a fucking rotten tomatoes score
It's probably a shit movie but who cares? There are better things to spend time on
No, you don't get it. This film getting a good score is clearly the work of paid CIA Soros shills that are trying to brainwash the world through Marvel movies, controlled by Jews on a course to exterminate the white race through a review website and I'm here to stop them. Why are you so blind? Rise tf up.
>ANYTHING LESS THAN ABSOLUTE STANING MEANS IT'S ROTTEN
Why are you faggots so up in arms about capeshit you smugly swear you want absolutely no part of? Seems like you're pretty emotionally invested to me. Just like the numales.
this but unironically
Horseshoe theory is real
It's never a good sign when studios have to give away free tickets for a movie.
it's also possible to tell that shit stinks without inserting it into your nose
>didnt even watch the film
>IT'S GOOD
Why are they ALL JEWISH. Jesus fucking Christ.
it's called the culture of critique for a reason
He said it was good? I don't see where
>I know it's bad because... I just know it is! Clearly, I am more experienced than seasoned critics when it comes to films.
Why do you think they don't? It's not like it's getting audited.
Well they're doing a bad job when it come to their movies.
Why are you mad someone said it's bad if you don't know it's good?
>I know it's good because... I just know it is! Clearly, I am more experienced than seasoned critics when it comes to films.
Yeah critics aren't paid for or anything like that either. Virtually no politics involved either. Ghostbusters (2016) is clearly rated good for other reasons.
No. You just don't understand PR. It's not easy to make people like shit. You can't just hype something people like into record breaking movie. Most of all, the end goal is sales. Before any test screenings, the produces are usually going to know if the movie's going to make money or not. Sometimes their surprised by first reactions, sometimes they have such a strong gut feeling that they ignore test audiences. Either way, you know well before a movie comes out whether it's going to be any good. If you know a movie is going to be shitty, the strategy is to prep damage control, and go for an strong opening week push. There is however, only so much you can push and hype a weak product. The more you push, the more people can tell that something is being forced. People automatically dislike anything they feel is being forced on them. In an ordinary circumstance, Disney would not be pushing this hard on this film. But they literally wrote Captain Marvel into being a central character of Endgame, which is coming out in a month. They can't write her out. They can't stop the train they've set in motion. They can't bury Captain Marvel and just throw Brie Larson under the bus. If this fails, Endgame is in jeapordy. If Endgame under performs and people don't like it, there will be almost no way to stop people from believing in superhero fatigue. So Disney has to literally try every trick and pull out every stop to try and make Captain Marvel a cultural phenomenon. Their only option for damage control is forcing a success. But, as you can tell by the reviews, it's an awful movie. The only people who can say anything positive about it are people whose livelihoods rely on placating Disney for early access and "insider scoop". This is the end of capeshit, and it's absolutely glorious. Who knows, it might even boost Donald Trump's approval rating.
Which is just evidence that Captain Marvel shouldnt of been made in the first place. But they just had to have muh stronk woman.
You post this like Bashar Al Assad would support Captain Marvel either
Israel did 9/11
The AMC theater in my area is only showing Captain Marvel Tuesday March 11th to Thursday March 13th... Let that sink in
So you only watch the good parts of a movie and that makes it good?
underrated
Don't movies get at least a week unless it performs terribly?
That's not how it works. Reviewers submit their reviews, ratings and whether they consider the movie fresh or rotten. All RT does is then count the ratings for the average and count the rotten/fresh tomatos for their RT score. 60% fresh reviews is fresh and 75% is certified fresh. You can find ridiculous reviews with 2/5 fresh score or 80/100 rotten scores.
>Cinemas had to wait until today (when the embargo was over) to know how many theaters they would need for Captain Marvel
No they didn't you fucking retard, they put out their schedules on Tuesday every week just like everyone in all your tinfoil conspiracy threads told you last week.
Don't the critics who submit the review pick whether it is scored as "Fresh" or "Rotten"?
Another sufferer of america derangement syndrome. You hate to see it folks, but it's very common amongst the redditors on this site.
Yes, this is just more retard hysteria
