WB isn't known for doing this very often. Generally speaking, (even the Nolan films) the embargo lifts the week it opens on Monday or Tuesday. Every once in a while they go a bit earlier, but this is unusual for them. Aquaman had an early break because of overseas markets.

I'm guessing this is a situation where they know they have a good film and probably need some extra publicity of it ''being good" due to Captain Marvel hype and Avengers hype coming right after.
