I actually feel good when I don't enjoy a hyped movie. It means I haven't become part of the lobotomized masses yet.

I wanna say you're autistic but an autistic would still enjoy the film

This, but unironically

your loss

>I'm happy when I don't like something others like because it lets me feel superior
sort yourself out, mate

exactly
this is why i feel bad

Alita is good though. It has a sincere heart in it.

Is it really? The trailer was kind of "forced emotional response" cringey.

This, all this box office spam is NPC-core

imagine if the chocolate was your dick haha

Who cares? tv shilled good and bad movies. Most shills are idiots some actually know something. Why should I feel bad about liking or not liking a movie. It's a movie.

I liked it. It has some sort of "innocence" that feels lost nowadays.

Everyone is free to like or dislike whatever the hell they want though. If you feel like you're supposed to do the exact same as someone else, then you're the NPC.

Also I dont care for Alita "shills". Like this user says, Yea Forums has shilled good and bad. I'd much rather have Alita shills than capeshit captain fungus mouseshills.

Yes it is and you should watch it.

This
It's hard to describe, it's like an old movie, maybe even prewar movie, but with modern techniques and amazing CGI. It's like a film from a long gone, more advanced age.
I can't describe it and it may just be me but Alita is my first and possibly only favourite film (or anything for that matter)
Call me a pleb, I don't care, but it's like Alita is talking to your soul

The movie cleanse your soul on the fundamental level. It's like after eating so much burger capeshits, you are treated with a fine dining.

This is pretty much how I feel about this film. Best film since bladerunner 49

>do you ever feel bad for not liking or liking a movie?
nope
>like when tv shills a movie and when you see it and it turns out to be shit
if you let influencers control your perception you're in a cult. Whether you're a reactionary or a contrarian or a useful idiot, if you let other the behavior of other people determine your behavior, you're a cuck.

No. Alita is not terrible or anything but it's a generic brainless action movie that gas little going for it aside from some memorable character designs and a great person manche by Christoph Waltz. The rest is generic "plucky heroine fights evil in a dystopian future" young adult shit. I'd argue that even Mortal Engines deserves a cult audience more on account of being somewhat more inventive, but that wasn't actually good either.

If you don't happen to be a 14 year old girl, Alita doesn't have much to offer.

Some movies aren't for everyone. There's no shame in that. It doesn't mean you're a bad person, and it doesn't mean it was a bad movie. Alita was good but it wasn't perfect, and everyone will weight its flaws and its successes slightly differently.

I personally was more than willing to forgive Alita for all its faults - as people are saying, it just has so much more soul than all the capeshit we're force-fed these days. And I'm genuinely sorry for the people who didn't get that feeling of joy watching Alita.

But it doesn't mean you're wrong, and even if you missed out on Alita there will always be other movies.

The best incel movie of all time
