A few things:
- Sin isn't a supernatural concept.
- Hell's origin (the concept, obviously) comes from Dante's Divine Comedy. There is no Hell in the Bible.
- Heaven and Jesus' Resurrection are both something like allegory or metaphor.

The things in the Bible have always been viewed as true. What has changed is people's understanding of what 'true' means. The definition of the word has narrowed and become much more superficial. Things can be true without being historically or scientifically accurate.

Your logic is all over the place. Really seems like you're trying to retcon two millennia of Christianity by saying Christians didnt buy into supernatural aspects of the faith until recently. That's categorically wrong. Read the fucking book of Acts, or any of Paul's letters. Paul isnt speaking in metaphors. He's writing letters to real people talking about believing that Jesus rose from the dead. Christians have since day one believed in the supernatural side of the Bible, just as Jews before them had.

Just because you view things in a lens that allows you to reinterpret the Bible doesn't mean it hasn't historically been taken a different way. Saying the Bible wasn't "meant" to be taken a certain way is also stupid considering it's composed of numerous authors who lived in different time periods and cultures.
