I have no doubt that this is going to be a great film.
I'm going to go watch it right now, there had better be some good-ass discussion in this thread when I get back.

Claire Foy and Gosling are both excellent. It's actually a really small movie about their relationship and how Armstrong is just this insanely dedicated pilot with no fear, but in his crazy adventures he becomes so pro that he loses touch with his senpai.
it's not bad
I really enjoyed it. It flowed nicely and never felt like it dragged. I liked how his kids helped weigh in on it so they felt like it accurately represented the father that they knew. It had a lot of tension too. My biggest gripe is with the handheld camera for everything. It made casual scenes feel weird and poorly done, like I was viewing it through the eyes of a drunk person. Music was good too.
Yeah I did not realize this was 2 and a half hours long, I won't be back tonight.
It’s a great movie especially if you’re interested in the whole moon mission stories and the history of it. Gosling also did a great job. It should’ve won more awards.
check'em
It'll be regarded as kino classic in 20 years
oh shit
spoilers: its bad
I know it's tiring to be cynical about the oscars, but it's just a crime this wasn't nominated for best original score
yeah I mean it was alright
Mmm.
reminder the us never went to the moon
>good ass discussion
search egg salad recipes
unironically one of the scariest movies of the year
>tumbling end over end in a rocket ship at the edge of space while all your engines fail
I liked
Gyro.
>Neil, you're bouncing off the atmosphere... NE-
Fantastic movie. Best I saw in theaters all year.
This, the Apollo fire, and the Gemini 8 scene were all fucking terrifying. Also:
>Neil Armstrong: Fuck you, space! I'm not checking out like this.
Motherfucking balls of steel.
I want some good, ass discussion.
-GGERS
kino
Well, what is it?
Wait a minut.
Ive studied aviation and the first scene is awesome.
>black panther won the oscar for best score instead of this
Lmao
Shoukd have been nominated for Best Picture, Director, Actor, Cinematography and Score at least
It's good.
I was one of the plebs that didn't see this in theatres over the flag planting thing.
I regret it, this kino would've been incredible on the big screen.
everyone thought it would have cleaned up awards, dunno what happened
I hate to politicise but it is a film with a full cast of white men
was nothing to write home about and is the poorest offering from chazelle yet
hopefully now he's over his period piece obsession
It was a solid 8/10. The goose really captured in his emotion display the fucking craziness of what they were doing. Let's shoot a rocket to the moon with people inside with a guidance system equivalent to a fucking modern day $10 calculator.
Post YFW he opens his hand and you see what he's holding
Planetes Pepe?
The lore implications...
that conservatives rallied against
oscars are surface level diversity based
This movie makes Buzz Aldrin out to be a real dick.
yeah i think they just used that to shoehorn some of that 'the right stuff' machoness
The music is fucking top, the movie feels too cold and depressing sometimes but it is overall good and has some touching moments.
The sound effects and mixing really stood out for me.
The creaking metal, breathing, and radio static. All crystal clear. It made the film much more immersive.
It deserved those Oscars.
He was apparently
Bet you feel foolish now.
This image looks like one of those memes that's blurred to feel more hectic
i thought this came out months ago
i still don't want to watch it
