Take it to Yea Forums

Seriously. You'll have better luck there.

Isn't Amazon in-cooperating these story-lines into their upcoming billion dollar adaption?

Non-Christian gods in Western movies are always lame because they get neutered.

That said, now I want this movie too.

Yea Forums is fucking garbage, and has the highest percentage of zoomers out of every board on 4chna except Yea Forums.

Yea Forums sucks

The premise was good. The ending was shit. Such a shame.

Big screen when

>Yea Forums is fucking garbage,

Ah, I get it. You're a /pol/tard. No worries bruh. Have fun on your containment board.

>in-cooperating

Apparently the comic was much more indepth, but the nearly finished draft was lost when someone broke into Warren Ellis's car and stole his laptop which had the only copy of the draft on it. So he had to rewrite the whole thing from scratch and he dropped several storylines due to how pissed off he was with the whole situation. What could have been, eh? If a miniseries ever gets made he could probably go a bit more indepth.

Why did everyone in-universe seem to think Jerry Craven actually stood a chance against Krishna?

I know the whole ending was a subversive anticlimax anyway but after reading it I was wondering what anyone in-universe believed "regular guy who's pretty strong" was gonna do to fight the omnipotent matter warping behemoth that other, much more powerful entities like Chinese Cthulhu Man and Blow Up The Entire Moon Guy already tried and failed at. It seemed like absolutely everyone involved saw Craven as a serious contender, even Krishna himself.

This obviously needs to be posted.
>As long as James Franco stays away from the project entirely though

>Seth Rogan starring as "The Judge"
>Dave Franco as "The Kid"
>Jame Franco as "Glanton"
>Jonah Hill as ""The Priest"

No just leave it as a book
No Country for Old Men is the only halfway decent adaptation of any of his works
Tommy Lee Jones had a five hour X-rated version of the movie ready to go but every production studio dropped out of it
any release would be hopelessly neutered and probably miss the point of all the manifest destiny themes and just turn the judge into another joker
An adaptation of the Crossing into a miniseries or longer movie would be great though

>michael cera as the freak

I think he was more than "pretty strong". His punches were powerful enough to create sonic booms that would flatten forest around him. He was also really durable, unlike every other "god" who had crazy powers, but were still rather fragile if hit straight on. Most of them were still just flesh and blood.

it’d be like rated pg-13 marvel shit tho

>regular guy who's pretty strong
Having nuclear powered punches so strong they create shock waves that destroy the eyeballs of anyone trying to observe the fight within a one mile radius isn't "regular guy who's pretty strong."

YIKES

I think the Cohen Jews could do it justice if given a proper budget.

That fight scene would look awesome on the big screen and you fucking know it. Don't be a contrarian.

fuck yeah

jesus christ go back you fairy

Please enlighten me with your superior taste in comics user.

The "holiday every day" theme would be an awesome atmosphere to make a film with very cool cinematography.

>more edgy nihilistic Warren Ellis trash

No

But user, it would be cool.

fuck Black Sails.

That particular comic was cringe, other comics are fine. The whole thing was just Ellis constantly trying to impress you with how badass and out of control the god characters were mixed in with lazy "religion is the opiate of the masses" fedora potshots.
The Incal

"Comics" are an art/literary form that predate the Middle Ages. Just because it fashionable to hate capeshit now, doesn't devalue the entire medium of "comics". Pleb.

because American tech > Pajeet tech
Yes the pajeets managed to make doctor manhattan, but the americans managed to make doctor manhattan with a conscience

Everyone was already cast perfectly except for Ozzy, Nite Owl, and Silk Specter 2.

Aaron Eckhart seems like a good Ozzy though. I always imagined him as giving off a kind of disarming charm, like Tom Hanks.

She deserves more work, she is stuck in German Lesbian hell (no seriously her most recent show and 2 other upcoming projects have her playing lesbians)

People actually think this comic is good? Why do American comics constantly try to pretend to be adult and mature by including core and overly sexualized content.
>haha masturbate in front of mushroom man

Supergod sucked because Warren Ellis lost the original script when his computer crashed and just phoned in the last few issues

Craven was supposed to have a bigger role but Ellis admits he lost the original script and didn't feel like rewriting it to be better so he phoned it in

I thought that the Americans managed to make Doctor Manhattan with a human conscience, his point was, ignoring muh edgy atheism, was that a divine, or higher being, would have a completely different morality system and appear to us as humans do to ants. You forget that the pajeet doctor manhattan would have created a paradise for the remaining indians, they were just overpopulated

I thought it was nice that he was a self-loathing gay man who felt he didn't belong in "heaven" and just wanted to be happy and krishna let him be happy
And then cuck arab antichrist was like "lul fuk u" and destroyed the region

Just Beren and Luthien or the children of Hurin, thanks
