Simpsons in general declined around the ninth season IMO, that was the absolute end of the golden era
Not really too many great episodes from season 11 onwards, overly focused on social justice Lisa and Homer being a bumbling fool as opposed to a well-meaning simpleton
Every episode eventually just started to bleed together and become indistinguishable from the last, Simpsons wasn't magical anymore
Even the animation became more sterile and reminded me more of Flash than of the classic hand drawn style, it lost all its soul
Don't think it'll ever recover, especially now it's been renewed for a billion more seasons
Can we just ignore these Sneed shitters and try to actually have a comfy Simpsons thread? Post your favorite characters I'll start. In no particular order:
Snake Nelson Edna Eddie Muntz Duffman Scratchy
Fat Tony Eckhardt Simpson Eliza Simpson Diggs
Apu Nikki McKenna Don Brodka
Sherri Erin Evelyn Graycomb Donna
Frink Otto Rod Marge Esquilax Ross Lenny Yves Bouvier

>without a single recognizable actor “Who the fuck are Albert Brooks, Patrick Stewart, Danny DeVito and Adam West?” Granted they were guest roles, but they still added something to the Simpson mythos.
