If Captain Marvel makes $250m in China and South Korea, then $1bn is locked. 240,000 pre sales even with reduced ticket prices in South Korea of approximately $5.87 would mean an opening weekend just in South Korea of $13.92M plus with walk in tickets and good buzz it could easily open at $25M, however just be mindful Black Panther finished at $42M after opening at $24M.
From here on, it looks like even a disastrous and a poor Multiplier could mean that Captain Marvel could open at $75M in China and $25M in South Korea and finish on $200M combined, so much for those predicting the film would struggle to make $600M, It's either the first CBM to finish It's run in the 900's Millions range or it will become the 4th Comic Book movie within the last year to make over a billion dollars?
