>low-budget ($80-90 million which is lower than any previous film in DCEU or MCU) >directed by a low-budget horror hack who first stepped foot on a real film set less than 5 years ago (not the David Sandberg that did Kung Fury) >written by Literally Who >shot by the artistic eye that brought you The Nun >starring some washed up TV actor and that angry twin of Stanley Tucci >going by the trailers, it looks like shit, as if it was some no-budget fan film with crappy costumes >quips and le awkward teenage virgin humor
That's quite virtually impossible given that even Fant4stic made $170 million and that's not only the worst reviewed superhero movie ever, but it had a slew of problems behind the scenes. Even Justice League's production went smooth compared to that. I wonder what people are thinking when making these predictions.

fuck off, Mouse shill, it will be good movie unlike Captain No White Males
if it's like Hancock without going full retard midway through, it's gonna be great

Shazam:
>low budget >funny, non-forced moments and jokes which actually hit >believable characters and good acting >interesting concept >Shazam is absolute chad >good villain >non-event plot >no agenda
Captain Marvel:
>big budget >forced, not funny moments and jokes which doesn't hit at all, embarassing slapstick for 12yo kids >out of place characters and really bad acting (outside of SLJ) >boring contept, another forced origin which is so bland that it doesn't reall stand out >Feminist, LGBT agenda >weak villain >event forced plot which require watching shit ton of medicore movies

>Not sitting cozy in the Alita threads until GOT starts
It looks like a fun flick to download on a friday night while drinking. Compared to Captain Marvel, which i will watch only to keep up with the discussions.

Dude, everything you described sounds like Marvel, and look where they are.

Shazam: >non-forced moments and jokes which actually hit Actually I thought the jokes in shazam were even more forced seeing as its a trailer and you barely have any context many of those 'jokes Also, you haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea what moments are in the movie >Believable characters You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not the characters are believable >absolute chad You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not Shazam is an absolute chad >good villain You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not the villain is good >non-event plot You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea what the plot is
Captain Marvel: >forced, not funny moments and jokes You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea what sort of moments are in the movie >bad acting, out of place characters You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not the acting is bad, or whether or not characters are really out of place >boring concept, forced You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not the concept is forced and what the origin is >Weak villain You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not the villain is weak >event forced plot You haven't seen the movie yet you have no idea whether or not the event is forced. plus it's an origin story so it doesn't require you to see the other movies
