Meh.

I remember it being very good, but as with most weaboo stuff, I can't remember what the fuck was it about

dude philosophy quotes lmao
Good animation, though.

I haven't seen it but I remember seeing the cover when my dad rented it once when I was 7 or 8 and instinctively knowing even at that age that is was weebshit

not as good as the first one
sometimes the callbacks to the first one are comfy sometimes they're insulting
it has another kenji kawai soundtrack
there were some great scenes although nothing as iconic as the tank fight or the invisible beatdown
oshii gets stuck up his own ass even more than usual
solid 7/10

Its comfy, whats everyones problem

Really great.
It lives up to the classic that is Ghost in the Shell 1995.

Somewhat kino but suffers from soulless ugly cgi animation and goes overboard with the self indulgence

>I hacked life's truths

This, also if i wanted lifted text from Confucius, Descartes, Plato etc .. I would just read a book instead.

This, near enough every line of dialogue was a tenuous philosophical quote.

Do you guys like the movies more than the show? I like SAC more than 2ndGig

Superior to the original in tone and narrative. The quotes were well selected and added to the scenes when used. Those dismissing them as pretentious are doing so disingenuously. Lastly, reunions are a great element to sequels that are easy to botch realizing the full weight of. They nailed the encounters between Mokoto and Batou; they did their friendship justice.

I personally loved SAC, but it's because it was my first exposure to GitS. after that I watched the first movie, was obviously enthralled by it, then the second, which was a little harder to digest, but still pretty ok given how much I was already immersed in the ecology of the story.

I got a bad rip with terrible subtitles. it was hell.

kinda lame

This. Really a good example of a movie I like for the atmosphere. Something I watch while sad and sipping hard alcohol. Reminds me of simpler times when my sadness was more two dimensional.

Thank you based xvid.

Probably a masterpiece visually but it does get a tad boring.

Oshii would later reach peak boring with The Sky Crawlers.

Could barely finish it. Superfluous dialogue seemingly written by stoned high schoolers that read a couple of wiki articles on philosophy is one of my biggest anime pet peeves(other one being exposition dumps). And there's plenty of that in this one. I don't really remember much else about it since I watched it like 15 years ago.

your sadness is one dimensional you emo fag
