Will Endgame be the season finale for Marvel? I've lost all interest in the MCU since Avengers1...

Whats the deal with the whole quantum realm thing that seems to be playing a big role? I can't imagine a scenario where they all shrink down Ant-Man style that doesn't end up being stupid.

My conspiracy theory is that Feige is pushing all of this SJW stuff for that very reason: either it takes off and does gangbuster, in which case he looks both prescient and “woke”, or it bombs and it doing so is blamed on his lack of presence, which also makes him look good.

Basically now that his grand 10 year plan has been a proven success, he has nothing to lose at this point.

i still think feige is biding his time and waiting for iger to fire kennedy after IX, and take on his biggest challenge in fixing the entire star wars universe. he grew up on comics and star wars. it's either that or DC offers him the job and there is no way the suits can put their egos aside over there and give him absolute control

I think that they will keep it running for a phase or 2, but the popularity will never be the same. the capeshit-audience thinks of RDJ or Evans and the like, so just hamfisting a new generation of heroes will decrease the core fanbase interest. Phase 4 will be a moderate success, kinda like how rom-coms was an easy investment for small profits in the 90-00s, and then phase 5 will be the dying out.

I have this theory that all the agenda-dogshit we see with CM is just to hide the fact that Disney are desperately trying to make their kiddie-appealing films appear to have undertones that appear relevant to adult. Almost everything past the first Avengers has been so tame and safe. Say what you want about Phase 1, Iron Man wen´t to a warzone and shot down terrorists in his first film, Thor mass-murdered the frost giants and Cap was at war with actual nazis

I really think this is going to happen. There’s nothing really left for him with the MCU yet at the same time there’s no way Disney would let him go, especially to Warners. He’s absolutely going to be the one taking over Lucasfilm once Ep9 is released (and hopefully bombs).

I've seen most of these Marvel movies and literally the only decent ones were Iron Man 1, Captain America 1 and 2 and GOTG 1, Infinity War. All of these other films were boring as hell. It's like a 1 out of 4 chance the film will be good with these things but they release like 3 films per year so it's enough to keep my interest over the years I guess. I think it's just the fact that it's all taking place in the same world and the fact that they push so many films per year alone that allows them to dominate capeshit.

MCU 2.0 will be re-casting all the heroes and heroines to be shitskins, trannies and SJW feminazis. The movies will do poorly (big surprise), and people will blame straight, white men.

I made a conscious decision about 2-3 years ago to never financially support capeshit or remakes anymore. I wait and torrent them for free. But if you go to see them, either because friends/family want you to go, or because you just have to see "if it's good or not," then you are part of the problem. General consensus under my friends and a lot of people I talk to is that we're kind of done with Marvel and just want to see endgame to sort of wrap things up.
