ITT: forgotten films
The cinematography and script felt like a lifetime movie of the month instead of an oscar winner. Controversial and interesting project dragged by the in your face preaching
why will they investigate priests but not politicians?
i enjoyd this movie
it seemed dull but i ended up really liking it
Police and the church were covering up
oh shit what up man
This movie felt like it was written, directed, and edited by an algorithm.
Anything that isn't capeshit.
This. Was disappointing. Could not believe my ears when I'd heard it'd been nominated. The fact it won was a bit of a red pill desu
this beat fargo for best picture
How?
This is some /x/ level bullshit. How in the goddamn
Sad because true. I saw this in theaters and it was actually pretty good
I just finished watching this. Comfy as fuck, I can see why people are upset about it winning though. To think that there are varying degrees of racism and that racist people can also commit acts of kindness and goodness must be a very bitter pill for twitter users.
No one would remember this film had it not been for Seinfeld.
>this beat fargo for best picture
>How?
Weinstein.
It'll be remembered more than that meme Chicano flick. Fact.
>exposes the brutal morally bankrupt and criminal nature of the United States' war in Afghanistan
>won a fucking Oscar
>virtually forgotten a decade later by all except a handful of docukinofags on /k/ and Yea Forums
hmmm
the Academy showering praise on a mediocre movie about exposing pedophilia in the Catholic Church was a little suspicious...almost as if they were deflecting from something...
