It's flawed, but it's still got the Spielberg twinkle to it. You have cheesy shit like the gymnastics and San Diego, but these are made up for with kino like the tall grass, Peter Stormare's death, and anything Peter Postlethwaithe it's doing.
The comedy cut from the prologue beach scene to Goldblum yawning in front of a tropical poster is genius.

I like TLW. It's a veritable adventure film, they don't make that kind anymore. Peter Jackson tried with King Kong, but we know how that ended.
That said, Roland Tembo alone elevates it over anything that came after.
